Shining a light on Mrs. Gregoire's budget

Hope to see some of you at this evening's panel discussion which will shine a light on Mrs. Gregoire's budget.

Special guests are the ranking Republicans on the House and Senate budget committees: Sen. Joseph Zarelli and Rep. Gary Alexander.

I hear there will be a giant searchlight outside the College Club to emphasize the point that we will be shining a light on the budget.

Time and location info, here.

And whether you can make it this evening or not, some background briefs on the budget from Sen. Zarelli are here: Budget Tidbits - Just the Facts.

1. Did you mean "search light"?

2. This is the same Queen that campaigned on the fact that she had never rasied taxes on the people of Washington.

It is nice to see her budget this year in detail, as well as her last session as the biggest tax happy governor this state has ever seen. And hang on, I'm sure when they are through with duct taping your mouths shut with 7 or 8 anti Initiative bills (their primary goal it seems these days) they will be after theiving Billions upon Billions more for their liberal giveaways.

3. Too bad Stefan is unwilling to help expose Gregoire's and the WA SC racketeeing. If he was willing, Gregoire would be gone within the next 3-4 months.

4. I rode by on 5th and saw the searchlight, (and from a marketing standpoint) the bubbles made the event appear upbeat and happy. Is this the tax happy angle?

Maybe try something from a "spending storm" angle next time?

5. How about focusing on it with a laser beam ? There would be cellulite and pork galore coming out - for social services to promote the nanny state model that Gregoire seeks to use.

6. Her budget needs a good dose of Liposuction.
