I've posted in general on chances for you the reader to get involved in helping turn out Republican voters this year. For readers looking for specific opportunities, check out the County Info page at Mike McGavick's website. Locally, King, Pierce, and Snohomish have lots of places to go to help the next several days, most of which are general Republican efforts for phone banking and doorbelling, not just for McGavick.
For those that dislike the idea of doorbelling or working in an office environment (though these are some of the best ways to help), I will have some other ideas a little later.

Posted by: Ragnar Danneskold on November 3, 2006 11:51 AMHowever, in my experience observing local elections in 2003, 2004, and 2005, Democrats have consistently done better with early absentee votes, partly I believe as a function of how the two parties function on GOTV at different times in the voting cycle.
