We're already getting enough, thanks
Today's New York Times magazine article headlined "Winning Women?" leads with a mention of Darcy Burner:

The online version is helpfully sponsored by something called "Do you want lies with that?"
I think we're already getting enough of those from the Burner campaign.

1. The advertisement from the DSCC is very surprising here....some people will sell their soul's for the almighty buck. Nice job, soundpolitics! Nice job! Why don't you download the assasination of the president movie for a few bucks. Sheesh.
2. "Microsoft executives" usually leave a fairly big imprint on Microsoft.com. Darcy's only mention is here--one presentation at a Japanese event.

3. Hey Marie, the advertisments are done by Google (it says so in the corner of the top banner ad). When they post on topics like Can'tVoteWell a lot, advertisments related to that topic automatically pop up in the banner ad. The folks running this site don't have any control over what exactly gets advertised.
They did a post a while ago about a Wicca chaplin in the Army or something like that, and for the next three or four days the banner ads had nothing but advertisments for Wiccan stuff.
4. Well, Mike H you are wrong! The dollar drives this one!
5. I'm glad they ran this so close to the election. That way it will still be fresh in the minds of the left when Burner loses and we can point out the NYT article and laugh.
6. HELP! I've burned my Darcy, and I can't get up.
7. I must say that I noticed the ad, and then I laughed. I certainly wasn't tempted to click on it!
