1. Imageine if Darcy were to make it to Congress; then she'd be 434th in the House, and she and Maria could be in the 533rd or so place....

I mean, Maria is smarter than D'Arcy, so that bodes poorly for us (assuming worst case scenario that Fibber Darcy makes it)

2. note that url allows you to see the worthless power of other dems in our state

Dicks and Reichart stand well...hmmm...moderates....hmmmm

3. ...and Inslee is in the bottom fifth...yeah, I feel represented all right...

4. Way to go Senator Cantvotewell!!!
She outpaced Sen. Pryor, Arkansas and stayed out of 100th place. What an achievement and it displays her inept lack of ability to do much, if anything, on behalf of her constituents in Washington State.

5. Cantwell is the smart one. The dumb one is 49!

I pine for the days of Maggie and Scoop, and I am a rabid right winger. I am feeling old, it's been 23 years since Scoop passed away, and 25 years since Maggie set was taken over by Groton.

6. Looks like Cantwell will have another six years to improve on that performance though.

7. You may be right, Wayne, but it won't be because I didn't vote or didn't talk up McGavick.

At 99, there is no room except to go up. LOL, wayne.

8. I CAN'T BELIVE HOW MEAN-SPIRITED YOU GUYS ARE !!!

I JUST FEEL THAT SHE WANTS TO HELP US SO MUCH. . .

9. Still, there's the issue of opportunity cost. Even a bumbler in the right party would get a lot more done.

Just how bad do you have to be to be 99, and only climb 9 spots if your party takes power?

We have Cantwell and Murray...and the moonbats make fun of anyone with an "R." It's Alice in Wonderland. Or Marie and Patty's Excellent Adventure.

10.
And she's still going to win by 10 - 15 precentage points... imagine if she were higher ranked, Mike! might not even get one vote!!!

11. The nightmare continues for Cantdowell. The Spokesman-Review has joined the Seattle Times in endorsing McGavick:

13. Since there appears to be concern about where our Congressional delegation comes out in this power measurement by Congress.org, let's figure out how we can improve the numbers.

First, we can take some comfort that since one of the factors is tenure, Sen. Cantwell will certainly improve in the rankings next year.

Also, since another factor is committee assignments and the like, the current rankings are dominated by Republicans. Since there's no realistic chance of Mike? joining the power rankings (and obviously Democratic Sen. Murray is not up for reelection this year), shouldn't those concerned with these rankings focus efforts on trying to produce a Democratic majority in the Senate this year? That will most assuredly produce a marked increase in BOTH Sen. Cantwell and Sen. Murray's "power ratings."

Make your donations today to Democrats in hotly-contested Senate races.....

14. 99th huh? Now we're not scoring backwards like golf right?

16. I guess that's why the Dem Party sent out campaign literature telling their supporters to remember to put ONE $.39 stamp on their absentee ballots. Way to go on that one. They are so embarrassed of their candidate they want to disenfranchise their whole base by telling them how to not have their vote be deliverd by the Post Office. Though when they lose then King Ron can then just start adding ballots from those claiming fraud.

Or they really don't care cause they know the Government will pay the overage....heck they have money and if they don't they can tax it or just take it from roads, police or fire.

20. Doc Hastings, chairman of the House Ethics Committee, is only the 229th most powerful House member. Bottom 10 percentile of Republican congressmen. Speaks volumes, doesn't it?

Posted by: Todd on October 26, 2006 10:03 PM
21. Volumes like our local empty suit Inslee?

Not nearly as many volumes as our great underachiever, Cantwell. Her "volumes" (along with The Dotzauer Report) would fill a library. I mean, Todd... even YOU could do better then that!

Posted by: Hinton on October 26, 2006 11:41 PM
22. In other news...Cantwell is ranked in the top 10 senators of Canada...
/heh!

23. Oh and I'm sure this has nothing to do with power rankings...???

I'll take the mediocre democrat over what would be a shill for the insurance lobby.

24. This is funny. Granted, I know nothing about how they compute ranking, but look at all the WA congress folk (http://www.congress.org/congressorg/power_rankings/state.tt?state=WA&submit=GO). Not only is Cantwell a lame duck, but so are all but 1 of the democrat reps. Even FRESHMAN Reichert ranks above all but 1. What's more, if you look at the state level in comparison to the rest of the country, WA is less powerful than any most other states. (http://www.congress.org/congressorg/power_rankings/power_card.tt?id=142979) Even Montana and North Dakota are more powerful. This truly is a pathetic state! It just goes to show we need more republicans in Congress to truely represent us.

Posted by: Mikey on October 27, 2006 02:48 PM
25. She should be only ranked against the other Senator from WA. The 100 'Senators' should be representing the States not the people. The sooner the end comes for this faux republic the better the people will be able to affect government for their liberty and security once again.

26. Yes, it's true. Visit the site, MariaCantVoteWelll.com to see just how Ineffective Maria cantVoteWell really is!

27. Amazing. She was 96th last week when I ran across this web site. She can still make 100 before the election....

Posted by: Lightfoot on October 28, 2006 05:53 PM
28. It can be said that if she gets reelected, that this state embraces mediocrity ! Cantdo-well says it all. It's time to take of the gloves and start bludgeoning the urban myths perpetrated by the MSM and get the opposing view out there. That will take innovation and creativity.
