Fulfilling a tantalizing promise made at least 13 months ago, former city council candidate, monorail kool-aid quaffer and all-around utopian visionary Grant Cogswell will leave Seattle, the P-I reports today. For the aspiring fiction writer who once opined, "True Seattle-ites...try not to cross Lake Washington," the last straw was that the Alaskan Way Viaduct will likely not be "replaced" with "more buses and an improved network of surface streets" bupkis; but a roadway of some sort instead. Good luck imploding asphalt in metro Mexico City, Hector - er, Grant. How do we know Cogswell's ethos is toxic? Check the byline of this tribute: "P-I staff." The shamefaced writer chose anonymity.
Seriously, this guy should just eat a bullet and get it over with.

I'm sure air you can see will really appeal to a real Northwest activist kinda guy.
Ha, ha, ha . . .
