As an update to yesterday's item about the 11 Egyptian "students" who failed to show up at Montana State University 10 days ago -- one has been arrested in Minneapolis. No word yet on the other 10, who, for all we know, are in Seattle, which is closer to MSU (Bozeman) than Minneapolis is.

if it's all a big mistake (i doubt it) fine--we found them for humanitarian reasons, getting lost in a big land; put them under the intense microscope and deport the offenders immediately after taking pix and dna or other biometric data; ps--who will pay their fines, and legal costs?

Montana to New York is quite a jog between classes....How many subways do they travel in NewYork looking for "a job" between classes.
We need to be less "Politically Correct" and more "Go Ahead & Make my Day", or the next 9/11 will come sooner than we think.
Posted by: Chris on August 9, 2006 02:13 PMsend them home pronto after a few 'inquiries'--and spare the diversity shyt during questioning; they broke the law--period; you would face the same in their county--or worse;
Posted by: Jimmie-howya-doin on August 9, 2006 02:19 PMHmm, has a familiar ring to it. July 31 David Gomez, Seattle FBI promptly stated for the record concerning Haq: "We believe ... it's a lone individual acting out his antagonism. There's nothing to indicate that it's terrorism-related."
And no one would ever be so politically incorrect nor mean-spirited as to scrutinize and profile eleven young men from Egypt - the same country that's given the world:
On 31 October 1999, EgyptAir Flight 990, a Boeing 767 flying between John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City and Cairo, crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Nantucket. The pilot, Gameel Al-Batouti, was suspected by U.S. authorities of committing suicide and intentionally crashing the plane and Killing all 217 aboard

Those pesky Presbyterians at it again, huh.
Scoop 'em all up and deport them. Immediately. And don't let them back in. Even if everything was on the up and up, they blew their chance.
I'm pretty sure that it was Presbyterians that flew into the towers. I hear Presbyterian Jihad bandied about everyday as well.
