Hezbollah Is Responsible for Current Civilian Deaths In Lebanaon

Seattle's ever-present "Blame Israel First" contingent, and gullible readers who buy the deceptive blame-casting of incomplete reports such as this: heed Charles Krauthamer in today's Seattle Times: "Hezbollah hides its fighters, its rockets, its launchers, its entire infrastructure among civilians. Creating human shields is a war crime. It is also a Hezbollah specialty." A resident near Tyre tells the NYT: "Hezbollah came to Ain Ebel to shoot its rockets," said Fayad Hanna Amar, a young Christian man, referring to his village. "They are shooting from between our houses. Please,'' he added, "write that in your newspaper." (Hat tip: Dhimmi Watch).

1. And I have been wondering for a couple of days how many of those people, women, children, old people who were killed in that village (can't remember the name) did not leave when the Israelis told them they were intending to bomb, because Hezbollah wouldn't let them. It's a perfect PR set up for the Helbollah and has, indeed, set the world against Israel and the U.S. I suppose word will out, as it did through Fayad Hanna Amar about his village, but who's going to listen? Certainly not the MSM, and the world will go on believing Hezbollah B.S.

2. An excellent article by a mother of an Israeli soldier.

3. Take a look on DRUDGE at the photos which ran yesterday in the Australia Sun Herald. They were smuggled out of Lebanon but they clearly show that the Hezbollah fighters are dressed as civilians and are launching rockets from the middle of the suburbs. Wonder if the Seattle papers will carry that story? (sarcasm intended!)

4. And Bush has already started us back down the wrong diplomatic tack. Sustainable peace!?! Not gonna happen. The only way to get sustainable peace is to have a war and have a clear victor and a clear loser. That's why we have war. There's this pansy liberal notion that somehow in today's world we are above war. That as citizens of earth, we should look to the UN and all just be happy and resolve our differences at the coffee house.

But that childish vision ignores the reality and brutality of groups like Hezbollah and Hamas. As long as these groups hide amongst civilians and parade their dead babies for political gain, there is a manifest evil in the world that we must confront ... with superior force. We must destroy the terrorist groups and the regimes that fund them if we ever hope to begin again with governments in the Middle East that put diplomacy before violence.

Any American Newspaper or Media Outlet that is not reporting the story with the reality that sustainable peace is not possible, should be vigorously outed and condemned. The best way to win this war on the home front is to vilify those who fail to acknowledge the threat.

5. I find that people's desire that war be "cruelty free" to be childish in the extreme. To quote a great American "War is cruelty, you cannot refine it." Once Hezb'Allah (I like that spelling better. I hear it's more phonetically accurate but more importantly it emphasizes the whole religious fanatic aspect of the "Party of Allah") kidnapped the Israli soldiers and began raining bombs down on Haifa it was as predictable as night following day that Lebanese civilian casualites would result. If they want a war with Israel, then war they will get. "Proportionality" in war is a bizzare concept - as if there's a chart somwhere in the UN that says "if you suffer 100 casualties in battle X, then you may inflict 150 casualties in return. Going over is unecessary roughness - 10 yards AND a loss of down."
I'm not saying that Israel is using the best strategy. Their current strategy doesn't seem to be immediatly effective. Of course, I dont have any bright ideas, either.
On a tangent - is Hezb'Allah really using Katusha rockets? As in "Battle of Kursk" and "Red Army Winter Offensive" katusha rockets? I assume leftovers from WW2 have aged and their propellant has deteriourated to the point that they would simply blow up if you tried to launch them. Where are those made these days?

6. What gets me is that Hezzbollah put these people in danger by firing the rockets from this location and the press is eating it up, yet wwith what happened in Seattle where a Muslim man walks in with the intention of killing innocents they make excuses.

7. TrueSoldier,

That is because Jews are expendable! But hurting anyone whose religion dicatates and declares itself to be the religion of peace - well, how could anyone be so evil to hurt someone with such a great religion. It is just barbaric. Leave it to right-wing neocon Christians not to understand that, and what a real religion is all about.

Does that clear it up? If not read my column in Pravda (aka NYT) under the name TotalMoron.

8. Folks, this is where we see that "Public Opinion" or "Public Perception" means more than the truth and our safety.

9. First read Sanctuary an excellent essay on war, civilians combatants the difference between them.

At Qana we've been treated to pictures of dead children. Gruesome and tragic, any death particularly the death of children in this circumstances is horrific.

The question is not if children died the question is who killed them.

IAF has released video of missile launches from Qana. That is Hezbollah making civilian areas a target.

Second the building collapsed 8 hours after the IAF strike.

Third the very questionable time frame of the images of the dead children in particular one girl shown in an ambulance, then later being "recovered" again.

All this not only place blame squarely on Hezbollah...

It begs the question were the children killed by Hezbollah for propaganda purposes?

The deaths of the children in Qana is on outrage.

Anyone who points that outrage at Israel the IDF and IAF is...

A USEFUL IDIOT being used by Hezbollah to further the goal of terror organization whose state goal is the genocide of the Jews people and eliminating the State of Israel.

10. Just in case my 'sign-off' on #7 didn't make the post obviously sarcastic - it was. It sometimes scary how whacked out I feel some of my posts are, yet still seem moon-bat-viable!

11. There was footage on one of the MSM channels last night of the Israeli Ambassador to the U.N.. I thought he made a good point on this conflict that is worth repeating.

To paraphrase, when the IDF kills innocent civilians in Lebanon, there an apology and an immediate investigation. When Hezbollah kills innocent civilians, this is deemed a complete success and reason for celebration.

And we always need to be on gaurd that we do not become like the latter ourselves.

12. Mikey at post 8: agree--what baffles me is the liberal tilt for self-destruction; they call it the high road or fairness or tolerance; it's all a bunch of balless excuse shyt; the libs love to coddle that which would end their lives; they are the first to scream for blood when it gets personal with their wife, hubby or child being a victim--whether on the streets or in a courtroom for a malpractice case;

13. #12 Jimmie,

Reminds me of an old song from the sixties.

THE SNAKE
Al Wilson

On her way to work one morning
Down the path along side the lake
A tender hearted woman saw a poor half frozen snake
His pretty colored skin had been all frosted with the dew
"Poor thing," she cried, "I'll take you in and I'll take care of you"
"Take me in tender woman
Take me in, for heaven's sake
Take me in, tender woman," sighed the snake

She wrapped him all cozy in a comforter of silk
And laid him by her fireside with some honey and some milk
She hurried home from work that night and soon as she arrived
She found that pretty snake she'd taken to had bee revived
"Take me in, tender woman
Take me in, for heaven's sake
Take me in, tender woman," sighed the snake

She clutched him to her bosom, "You're so beautiful," she cried
"But if I hadn't brought you in by now you might have died"
She stroked his pretty skin again and kissed and held him tight
Instead of saying thanks, the snake gave her a vicious bite
"Take me in, tender woman
Take me in, for heaven's sake
Take me in, tender woman," sighed the snake

"I saved you," cried the woman
"And you've bitten me, but why?
You know your bite is poisonous and now I'm going to die"
"Oh shut up, silly woman," said the reptile with a grin
"You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in
"Take me in, tender woman
Take me in, for heaven's sake
Take me in, tender woman," sighed the snake

14. I was watching CNN (Communist news network) today and the correspondent seemed to gloss over the possibility that Hizbollah harbored residents during the attack as human shields so that Israel would look the demon and they went out of their way to report that mostly children of the 56 were killed. I believe that Hizbollah did not let the people escape even if they wanted to. I also understand that there is some footage that contradicts this report. Check out www.kvi.com - Kirby's site about this.

I'd say that these reporters might as well have said Hizbollah is fighting for Lebanon. The MSM glossed over that seemingly inconvenient truth. Any halfway intelligent non-moonbat could see through this despicable crap. CNN has no shame !

15. See the following link:

This shows how Hizbollah has purposely put residents in danger - for any doubters out there.
