The Seattle Times Has A Question For You
Specifically:
We're trying out Prickly City. What do you think?
You can see today's strip
here. I think I like it. (And I like
the Tuesday and Wednesday strips even more.)
You can email your opinion to: timescomics@seattletimes.com. You'll have decide for yourself how
candid you want to be. If, for example, you were to tell the Times that you love the strip because
it really nails the "mainstream" media, that would probably end any chance of them keeping the strip.

1. That was good. You are right Jim, the previos two days we even better.
2. Nah...They need to sign up ted rahl or mark fiore. You know - humor for the suicidal set.
Liberal~John would love it! ;'}
3. Well if they print that leftist tripe "Garfield"--free lasagna=communism. Equal time demands something like this, I really like the ring tone strip "stop spending my money".
Man I have got to find a sarcasm font.
4. You may not believe that PI actually has Prickly City in the comics pages, and that is about the only thing that is not liberal in the entire PI.
5. I've said it before, the Times comics page is the only reason I subscribe; as soon as our last comic-reading kid is gone (and assuming the Times is still around then), sayonara.
The Times has run the "we're trying this strip out--what do you think?" footnote under PC for about a year. We've sent e-mails telling them we like it several times with no response. Maybe they canned the comics page editor during the last round of budget cuts.
6. I still like Mallard Fillmore better. Partially because he also happens to be a conservative reporter but also because he's a duck.
But with that said, Prickly City is now officially on my must read list. Some pretty funny shiite.
7. Did you just started reading the Seattle Times? They've been running this strip in trial mode for months.
8.
I get enough political B.S. now from Doonesbury and Fox TV, without having to put up with Prickly City's inane Democrat bashing.
At least, Trudeau's strip shows some humor
and imagination that can be appreciated regardless of the readers political party choice.
