Sound Events, our brand new Community Calendar, is already starting to attract event announcements!

We're also linking to selected events announcements in the right hand sidebar on the Sound Politics front page -- the 3 soonest upcoming events are posted under "Next Upcoming Events", and 3 of the most recently submitted events are posted right below, under "Recently Posted Events". (to promote variety, the latter will take the recently posted events from 3 different groups, where none of the events appear in the list of "Next Upcoming Events"). Just click on the Organizer Name/Date link to get to the full description of the event.

Check it out: view all event listings at Sound Events. You can post events for your organization here. Listings are free and open to the public. Only guidelines are that the event should be regional and political -- e.g. campaign event, meeting of political organization, lecture on current events, etc. The listings will remain unmoderated as long as this is not being abused.
