1. Warning to all...the aforementioned leglisators (e.g. Esser and Nixon) are great if you like living in the 30s.

If you have more modern thoughts, and aspirations, you may wish to vote for their opponents.

The economic vitality and growth in quality of living here during the past two years was done *despite* having Esser and Nixon on board to delay the very progress we have enjoyed.

Just ask them about 50% voting majority...they continue to live in the past and believe 60% should be necessary to pass some taxes! Amazing that people not supporting school issues should have more voice than those that do -- since 6 YES votes are equal to 4 YES votes.

But that's exactly what Esser and Nixon believe and support.

Time to put the failed policies of the past in the past. Oust Esser and Nixon and let progress continue!

2. Are you serious? There are a lot of reasons for a supermajority in oddball election cycle voting.

But back on subject- is everyone here a Republican or something?

3. 100% serious. And anybody who trots out the tired old reasons for supermajority requirements in oddball election cycle voting never suggest it should be used for:

1) prison elections during the same cycle
2) ALL primaries (since they are oddball cycle too).

What a hypocrite
