"I love the smell of napalm in the morning"

Few things in politics are funnier than the viciousness that erupts in a primary squabble among Democrats:

"Sniping precedes formal race for 32nd District seat"

Washington's 32nd Legislative District has two opposing political parties, both Democratic.

The party's fractured district organization is at war again, or still, over a rumor about who might or might not run for the state Senate from the Democrat-leaning district straddling King and Snohomish counties, and who is to blame for the rumor.

Meanwhile, Sen. Pat Thibaudeau, (D-43 [B.C.]) may well choose to retire in the face of the withering primary challenge from Rep. Ed. Murray (advantage: Josh Feit)

1. Wait a tick...
Is Stefan trying to teach our side a lesson by showing the follies of internecine strife with examples of how it plays out when our opponents become embroiled in it?
I grok...I grok the lesson well.

2. Thibaudeau is the blue ribbon award winner of female bigotry in the Senate. The more chaos in that district, the better.

Centrist democrats who fought for shared parenting with us last session felt a real need for a soap and water detox after seeing what position this card carrying KKK feminazi holds with regards to children having 2 parents.

The rest of the Senate (especially anyone calling themself a moderate democrat) should be ashamed of this do-nothing bigot holding them hostage.

3. Wasn't Edmonds in line for some cushy patronage job at the King County Parks as a spokesperson for 100K + a year from Ronny? Or did she not get the "call" after Ferguson stomped her? It's really hard to know which Socialist liberal Democrat to root for in a case like this.

4. Yawn - let them eat each other alive - maybe the Republicans have a shot at capturing at least one of the houses. Apathy won't do it though...

6. Stefan,

Have you watchd any of Mark Wilson's campaign videos? Almost all of them trash-talk Cantwell. They're available at YouTube, links and short commentary here.

While some of the people featured in the video's are straight up conspiracy theorists and far-left wingers, others seem to be rank and file Democrats disillusioned with Cantwell.

8. It reminds you of what they say about academic politics -- the reason it's so vicious is because there's so little at stake.
