McDermott's Own Little Terror Supporter

Front Page Magazine is reporting that Congressman Jim McDermott's new intern is a terror supporter. Very little McDermott does surprises me any more.

1. Yep! Baghdad Jim is a real charmer! Cheer up though-we could have McKinney as our rep!

2. Now can we call him a traitor?

3. Heaven help us.

4. There IS SO MUCH ammunition to use against McDermott in his re-election bid. I am amazed that we haven't seen a big push yet by the R's to run against him and really use all the ridiculous things McDermott has done to harm our country and our state.

5. Oh come on Katomar >>> after Baghdad Jim's previous treasonous crap and Osamam Mama - tennis shoe Patty's slobbering on about Bin Laden - they both got re-elected without a blink --

6. katomar,

This map explains why McDimwitt is in the unscrewable pooch of a Democrat district.

7. Cheer up though-we could have McKinney as our rep!

As bad as McKinney is, I'm not all that sure she's worse.

She's not better, but I'm not sure she's worse.

8. Time to face the unpleasant truth if you haven't already, a large majority of the Seattle voters in McDermott"s district are themselves a traitor to this nation. He actually reflects them.

The R's don't have a chance there. The best we could hope for is a responsible Dem. (is there such a thing anymore?) to mount a primary challenge. The fact that they never have speaks volumes about that party.

If nothing is done about this intern then we have already lost the war on terror. It is tantamount to a surender.

9. If we had any balls left he'd be in jail facing treason charges instead Joel Conlley will shine his shoes, Jean Enerson will kiss his ring, Blethen’s will feverishly lobby him for something related to estate tax reform, Bill Gates will give him money, someone will forward another taped cell phone call to him and you rank and file Uhmerikan will be executed for asking that the border be closed or burning the mehican flag or the UN flag as a hell raising, freedom destroying, liberate apostate, christian, right wing, race hating, SUV driving, environmental destroying, meat eater with too many kids!

Folks I really don't care if the Islamo/Irano/Russia/Sino/Drainos hit us anymore we damn well deserve it with this kind of behavior. Not a damn thing we have said has changed anything except you get a cattle prod at the airport while the turban loads a bomb on the plane and we can't kill the enenmy anywhere anymore as we might offend them.

We see it coming and Rep. Mickey D it is on your turban wrapped head and that ain't gonna be for me to judge just you to receive the judgment.

I know but that will be Bush's fault.....

10. Maybe PI columnist Joel Connelly will write this up on one of his columns. Maybe.

11. JCM,

I clicked on your "This map explains why" link and the web page came up with Cantwell's, Murray's and McDermott's pictures next to what should have been a map of the 7th Congressional District. At the bottom of my browser was the message "Error on Page".

The message was only partially correct - there are at least three errors on that page.

13. When does this guy get to vote? I know he plans on living here once they kill us all so lets let him vote now.

14. Nice. Liberals were all up in arms about the Dubai port deal. But now they have terrorists (or at least terrorist supporter) working in our government offices. Can you say Hypocritical?

15. Hey Mark, if you want to slit your wrists, I'll lend you a razor...

As for the other, McDermott didn't elevate this fellow - The Fulbright organization did...

And Hamas is now the dominant party in a legitimately elected government.

If the US wants to go after terrorists, why don't they do something about the Chicoms... Oh, wait! they're lining the globalist pig fat cat's pockets... Or the Saudis... Oh, wait! they're lining the globalist pig fat cat's pockets... Or a lot of others among our "allies" in the middle east...

16. It doesn't help that the GOP tends to put dingbats up against Bagdhad Jim. I mean really, running someone who is openly anti-gay in a district that contains Fremont, Queen Anne and Capitol Hill? Sheesh. Who makes these decisions?

One ray of hope: I met Adam Smith once and he asked me who my rep was. When I mentioned BJ he rolled his eyes. BJ isn't the most well-liked Rep out there even in his own party.

17. McDermott's a good example of just how screwed up the demographic of Seattle is when it comes to who they support. I doubt that McDermott would be unseated even if he started giving money and support directly to al-Qaeda or Hamas. He's a far left whacko amongst far left whackos. They love him to death. Literally.

18. The "Religion of Peace" sure has a lot of hate for Zionism. How any religion with that much hate for another religion can be called a religion of peace is beyond me. Reagan would never have used that term.

As for McDimwitt, he'll get enough donations from his kool aid drinkers to pay off his legal debts resulting from his domestic spying episode. Those same people who donate want Bush impeached for spying on real terrorists. This is all you need to know as to why he won't get voted out of office any time soon.

19. Sadly, Jeff B. is right. This story, even if covered by the local press, wouldn't hurt McDermott in his district at all.

20. As for the other, McDermott didn't elevate this fellow ...

No. He just hired the guy for kicks and grins.

21. Sorry for the OT, but the Eastside Journal mentions the name of the BCC professor who dissed Condi Rice. apparently, he made a public apology. Forgot the name but it's easily obtained by going to EJ's site, and probably elsewhere.

22. Palouse,

President Bush is using a common tactic in debates. He is defining the terms. Because Islam is a religion of peace, anyone who practices violence isn't a believer in Islam. Thus, as we go around the world tearing them down and putting them in prison cells and burying the little bits left of their corpses, President Bush can say that they didn't represent their religion.

In other words, what President Bush is saying is that the only people he recognizes as Islam are those who are peaceful. The rest will end up in a the pits of hell. If you look at it that way, he is actually making a lot of progress. The more CAIR nods their head in agreement with Bush, the more they have to denounce Hamas and Iran or end up in the same boat as them. CAIR can't come out and say to Bush, "Stop defining our religion!" They have to say, "We condemn the infidels or Iran and Palestine" or else lose all credibility.

Note that Bush is winning this argument. World opinion is rapidly moving against violent muslims.

23. McDermott....Kennedy.....Skunkcabbage by any other name...

24. Well said Jonathan. And it is as it should be. Any use of force as a means to direct men is wrong. Whether it be from a government that does not respect individual freedom, another person who seeks to control us by force, or a violent religion which uses force to spread its message. Force works against the nature of man. We are volitionally conscious beings. As such, our ability to make choices grants us the freedom to do so. Of course those choices must stay within the same bounds and we may not use force against others, unless of course force is initiated against us and it is our option for defense.

Violent Islam is an example of force initiated against Americans and Israelis. Regardless of how the Violent Muslims want to spin it, there is a very clear record of 30 or more years of force brought against Americans, and much of that force was not justified in any way. We have the right to use force in return against Violent Islam, and that is what we must do, ASAP.

The longer we let Violent Islam fester, and specifically the central nest of Violent Islam which is Iran, the more they will use force against Americans because they do not believe we have a right to exist and to be left alone to our own ends.

Violent Muslims believe that we are wrong to practice our customs of trade for mutual welath generation, sex for pleasure , freedom of religion, equality for women, etc. The very fact that we exist is prima fascia evidence for Violent Muslims that we must be destroyed.

Thus we have no choice but to stop their madness and simply obliterate Violent Islamic factions and any theocratic regimes that perpetuate their existence.

25. So this is an example of the Democrats 'National Security' policy of 'Real Security?' 'Baghdad Jim' and the Democratic party will probably play this up as the old adage of "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" with Government hand outs to boot. This is about as close as one could get to having tea with terrorists as a part of their appeasement policy. You go Jim have a blast on Mustafa!

Posted by: Dan on April 20, 2006 01:18 PM
26. Possum,

That's right . . . change the subject and it will all just go away.

We already took on the "chicoms" and beat their a$$es in Korea.
Then we took them on in Vietnam and lost here at home because of liberal phonies like you and Bhagdad Jim.

Jonathan Gardner's comments are right on.

Right . . . let's go after the Saudi's. Brilliant.
Keep the razor and cut your own throat.

27. Problem is that it is not only "violent Islam" that has that hatred of Israel. Iran may be only one of a few saying it, but you can bet the Saudis, Qatar, Turkey, Kuwait, et al are thinking what the mullahs are saying. Many, or perhaps most of those countries still fund Hamas, which is funding terrorism. None of those countries would be upset if Israel was wiped off the map.

There is no "religion of peace". It's a bogus term used to placate countries that we have to hold our nose and deal with because our economy depends on it.

28. Where is Senator Joeseph McCarthy when we need him most? Probably spinning in his grave. What would Scoop Jackson think of BJ? Having served in the Marines long ago, I'm familiar with the feelings of frustration that stem from BJ's treasonous attitude & comments that he spews. I can just imagine the thoughts & comments from today's soldiers who know of BJ.
Back then, it was just the protestors. Now we have idiots like BJ who I consider as Activist Politicians. Let's not forget about our morally bankrupt film stars leading the way, with our kids sucking up every poisonous morsel. I know that those were very different times, almost ancient history, but how did we get to this point? As long as we have cheap gas & uninterrupted cable-TV, everything is fine, right?
It's unconscionable to me that McDimwit continues to go unchecked, yes even in the 7th Dist with our wonderfully liberal media-lapdogs. Maybe Baghdad Jim & Ron Sims could team up to craft legislation in order to support pro-Islamic rags like this "At-Tajdid." With treasonous BJ in bed with terrorists and Ron Sims tax-loving ways, it could be a match made in heaven!

29. Jimmy McDermott...Always pushing the envelope. One day the idiot will end up in jail for treason and wonder how the hell that happened. It's the only way he can get noticed. The stupid ones always seem to make the most noise!
