Bob Edelman has been following up on the apparent double voters identified in the statewide database, and requesting the physical evidence from the county auditors.
Today we have two absentee ballots cast by (or at least in the name of) one Lynda Ginieis, who voted both at home in Medical Lake, Spokane County and at her WSU dorm in Whitman County. Ms. Ginieis is still registered in both counties.
Edelman was also responsible for the recent report of the two double voters in Jefferson County.
(Stefan, it was nice to meet you on Saturday! Keep up the great work.)

It's awfully hard to FIND anything with one's eyes closed!
What they didn't ssay was the SCOPE of their work which did NOT include looking for fraud.
See how the game works??
It will be interestig to see what Stefan learns as he goes thru the transaction log.
I expect there will be many, many more questions than answers.
How this SHOULD work is:
Voter Registration Database @ Date A
+
Transactions from the Log for the period A to B
===
Voter Registration Database @ Date B
It was truly mind-boggling that KINGCO Erections was able to withhold a fundamental document for over 6 months.
In the auditing business, that's called a "Red Flag" (which means "keeping looking deeper!)

Scroll down and see who is listed from Medical Lake.
Posted by: Elaine on April 10, 2006 01:08 PMThat would be difficult to explain to the prosecutor...Oops, no one in office is interested in enforcing election laws, or immigration laws, or anything else that violates their sense of "fairness."
Posted by: Obi-Wan on April 10, 2006 01:45 PMOf course, it doesn't explain why she wouldn't know you can only vote once....
Posted by: SouthernRoots on April 10, 2006 02:41 PMShe registered to vote first in August 2004 and again - right after school started - in September 2004. She sent in both absentee ballots - dated within a day of each other in October 2004. One absentee ballot was sent to her home address and the other to her campus address. Either she purposely distorted her signature on one ballot or one was stolen and forged.... The key would be to check both signatures against her drivers license sig...If the ballot sent from her home doesn't match her regular signature...then she probably purposely distorted her sig. If the ballot from home matches her regular signature then she could claim her campus ballot was lost or stolen and sent in without her knowledge..
