Animal rescue activists are accusing Federal Way Police and King County Animal Services of bungling the case of Mooie, the 4-month-old puppy killed by acid. Today's Seattle Times reports: "Agencies deny they bungled investigation of dog's death".
Pasado's Safe Haven, a non-profit animal rescue organization, has a web page with (unpleasantly graphic) photos and more details about Mooie's death and the bungled investigation. Pasado's recommends:
please file a complaint, using polite language, against King County Animal Services by contacting Walt Washington, Manager of King County Animal Services and Programs at walt.washington@metrokc.gov.But this leaves out a very important person in the chain of command. Animal Services is a section of Record, Elections and Licensing Services (REALS). Walt Washington is a direct report of Dean Logan. Logan is probably afraid of dogs.

On a more serious note: Breaking up Deanron can only be a good thing.
