Everybody: Give Dan Rather A Warm Seattle Welcome

Disgraced Demo Dupe Dan Rather comes to Seattle next Tuesday, Jan. 24th, and for $25-$75 you can hear him speak on "What The Media Is Not Reporting" at McCaw Hall. Courtesy of Foolproof Performing Arts, natch. A rich topic indeed, Mr. Rather. Maybe you'd like to bend Dan's ear before the talk, about some examples he ought to include: $100 more gets you into a private reception in the Allen Foundation for the Arts room. At the very least, you'd get a chance to hear Dan tell you - up close and personal - that he's been busier than a three-legged possum in hen house, or a cockroach on a trash heap, or whatever.

After that there frog skeetered out of the boiling pot, I suggested Dan should get a blog. Considering, after all. Today he tells the Seattle Times he's not sure if he's going to do that. But he does offer that the North Pacific axis, including Seattle and Vancouver, B.C., will be at center of coming history, whether for world trade or a new world war. Hmm, I think in scenario two, I'd really like to have a Republican in the White House. And aren't we, uh, kind of already in a world war right now, BTW?

At least we can directly confront our homegrown enemies, and without forking out a $25 minimum to see Dan or other Lefty Luminaries Foolproof is bringing to town. To that end, you may want to attend the Seattle Bush-impeachment gala sponsored by World Can't Wait on Jan. 31. It's part of a nationwide mobilization timed to coincide with W.'s State Of The Union speech. Scroll down to the alphabetical listing for Washington here, and you'll see they're gathering at Fisher Plaza. At the top of the link, you'll see protestors are urged to bring drums, violins, and recorded hip-hop and classical music to drown out the vile Bushwords coursing through corporate media. So bring your own clever signs for a counter-protest. Any suggestions on slogans?

1. How about,"Impeach Annan!"
Or, "Attack Chirac!"
Or, "I'd Rather tell the truth!"
Bring your bagpipes, and we'll do some *real* drowning out. We'll make sure to play military marches and wear skirts/kilts at the same time--that oughta confuse people.

2. Protest Warrior has posters guaranteed to drive a moonbat into a full froth mode.

Like:

Except for ending slavery, fascism, nazism, and communism
War has NEVER solved anything

3. Hey let's all get in on this....That Dan Rather character is about as f****ed up as a chicken wire canoe.

4. If this guy consider Al Gore to be a shining example of what people should be doing, he's about as delusional as the people he's criticizing. Al Gore's recent speech was hilarious. Anyone who heard the various tones of voice and downright wiggly voice he used had to wonder what he was on at the time.

5. Dan Rather, I thought he retired? Or was it just from the Liberal Media Corps, but now he's a DNC hack? This just goes to underscore how much of an "Unsound Institution" Foolproof really is.

Also, for updates on the Hillary Clinton visit (January 27th) visit Respectfully Republican.

6. Dan Rather disgraced himself with that attempt to do a last minute hack-job on Bush before the 2004 election. I read that "letter" supposedly from GWB's commander in the Air National Guard, and I recognized it as bogus before I finished the first paragraph.

Colonels in the Air Force don't write in a style like the letter was written. I didn't need any anachronism like the Microsoft Word typefaces to show me the thing was a forgery.

Dan Rather should be ashamed, and he should be relegated to the junk heap of history. He did it to himself.

7. Is his former producer (Mapes) going to be with him? I bet she could shelter him from the right wing hideouts here.

8. News not being reported or at least underreported:

*The WMD (like cyclosarin) found in Iraq (Int'l)
*The Democrat ties to Abramhoff (sp?) (National)
*The public records work by Rep. Nixon (State)

9. Michael Medved just explained on his show that the primary organizers of this world-wide effort are...COMMUNISTS.

Communism has been THE deadliest form of government in modern times. Killed way more than Hitler. And just look at how North Korea is thriving (NOT). And Castro's own daughter says that the dream of every cuban under the age of 70 is to LEAVE Cuba.

Those planning to attend this silliness are the Democrat Party base. This is why Dems are NOT qualified to lead this nation. Need we say more about these moonbats?

11. I'm not sure how "Foolproof Performing Arts" got its name, but the fact that its lecturers get such big crowds in Seattle is proof that there is no shortage of fools here.
