3. A perfect choice of A SPEAKER for the WA State REPUBLICAN LOSERS CLUB! You ought to treat your inept candidates like LEX LUTHOR TREATS HIS IDIOT ASSISTANT,OTIS!!

4. Wow...Just say no to drugs or find better ones Winnie. The meth isn't doing it for you. I'm suprised you can find the time to post here between sessions down there at Western State. Is this part of your treatment?

5. Winston, Dino is the Governor of Choice at this site. You managed a 129 massive overturned overturned overturned landslide last time, but after the Smokes over-regulation, Car over-regulation, TAX to the MAX governornot that you have in place, you better enjoy it while you have it. Dino will be back to Kick her B out!

7. Dino won. Christine was appointed. What I can't figure is what was appointed: a governor or a teachers union rep?

8. Why are you all so dead set against hand recounts?

Posted by: Winston Smith on December 19, 2005 09:30 PM
9. Because, Winston, the more times you count, the more screwed up things get, because individuals are not perfect. As they used to say in Cook County,(and probably still do) just keep recounting till we win, then stop counting.

10. I missed his book signing in Spokane. I was going to buy the book and take my daughters' congratulations letter for passing all four parts of the WASL, and ask Dino to sign over Chris' signature that has been covered with white out.

11. katomar, The recent gubernatorial election in Washington State followed standard procedures. A machine recount was automatic due to the closeness of the race. Both candidates then had , what was it?...thirty days to request a hand recount. That's what happened. Were there any problems anywhere in the state? Sure. Were a lot of them in King County? yup. Were there any flaws that benefited Rossi? Yeah. It was real close. When we see the problems that we have with elections it can look pretty ugly, but in the end, Gregoire won this time. She wasn't appointed. It really sucks to lose such a close election. But that's the way it goes. Focus on the present and the future. Let's hope that the next election isn't a three round nail biter with Rossi winning. Then we'd have to put up with the lefties complaining too.

12. And you really want us to believe that, on the third count, after "just happening" to "find", repeatedly, in a heavily Democratic county, "just enough" votes for the 'Rat to win, that it wasn't rigged? How many times did King Co. "just happen" to find "votes" that somehow, "just happened" not be be counted in the previous counts? How convenient it was that a rabid 'Rat activist "just happened" to be one on a list of voters whose ballots "just happened not to be counted" in previous tallies. Man, that's close alright. What an amazing election! A wonderful model for the (Stalinist) world. Gee, isn't it an amazing coinky-dink that the 'Rat candidate "just happened" get get enough "votes" on the third tally to "win", but that's the way it goes, nothing to see here, move on, let it go, trust us, we're the 'Rats, blah blah blah.

Give me a freaking break here, man. This wasn't a recount. Votes "just happened" to appear out of nowhere that weren't counted in the initial totals. That is not recounting, that is adding votes after the fact, and it was done from an outcome-oriented perspective. Those votes were going to "just happen" to be found until Fraudoire came out on top. Anyone who can't see that is either blind or really, really stupid.

13. My namesake will not be the next governor, for the simple reason that people are learning the truth...Dino is merely a follower, not a leader.

Oh sure, he publishes his own book and says he is a leader, and if any question arises he refers people to his self published book.

However, people have learned to check the facts.

Last week, Stefan was blaming the democrats for the 'shared gain' retirement plan that is costing millions to catch up. The facts are that Dino and the republicans (as well as the democrats) voted enmasse for the plan.

If Dino calls that leadership, then it must be round two of 'follow the leader'.

My point is: don't blindly follow what someone says, do the research. You'll have fun in the process, and you'll know the facts!

15. Well, fine. We'll appoint Rossi:" Almost the Governor and not the Least bit Bitter." This is the kind of office Rossi could serve in with the same honesty and integrity as the current crop of Righty Wingnuts.

16. Interested observer, Do you really think that vote counting process was conducted illegally? How is it that representatives from both parties were involved and the decisions reviewed by judges? Washington election law was followed. It calls for an automatic machine recount if the vote is that close. Thereafter the candidates have a limited time to request a hand recount. Even after that happened and it was challenged in court in a conservative county presided over by a conservative judge, Rossi still lost.

17. I don't think that idiot Bridges is any kind of conservative. Look at the absolutely stupid, brainless admonition he left us with: the system is broken and corrupt, but you still have to use it to fix it. Sorry, but conservatives aren't that stupid. Ever try to fix something with a broken tool? You won't make much headway.

You are really going to sit there and tell me that "finding" so-called "votes", a couple of different times in a heavily 'Rat county, just enough to "just happen" to put the 'Rat in the lead, is somehow an indicator of an honest process? You're going to ask me to believe that it was "just coincidence" that a rabid 'Rat activist "just happened" to be one on a list of voters who "just happened" not to have their ballots counted the first time", and that he "just happened" to notice that after the fact? Sorry, but if you're going to ask me to do that, you're asking me to be stupider than I am, because I'm smart enough to know a 'Rat when I smell one. Too many "just happened" for me, too many convenient coinky-dinks lined up in a way that "just happened" to favor the 'Rat.

18. Trolls: The fact is, everyone in this state can do the math in their heads. They knew hundreds of felons voted in KC and about the dead and double voters, plus we know about fatal pends, mail voters who also voted provisional and got both counted, plus the KNOWN 93 UNCOUNTED ballots plus all the other stuff Stefan has documented here including 2,000 more votes than voters--they know that if you factor that all out you would have a Rossi win. Everyone knows it. Even Mrs. Gregoire knows it. Even SHE knows she is tainted. And it haunts her daily. That's why WAtonians keep disliking her (35% approval rating). They know her union friends down at KCE got her in by hook and crook.

That's why she keeps coming up way short when asked by pollsters who people would vote for in a hypothetical race right now. They know they were robbed of their choice. Everyone knows it.
