1. Owens and Alexander are up for election, so they now are hard at pandering to their base: democrats, local governments, and unions. That is where their campaign money will come from, so that is who their opinions benefit. This PI article is a campaign finance solicitation.

12. I believe after many years of careful & detailed research, I have come up with both the PROBLEM and more importantly the cure for what ails the great State of Washington.

It appears the LEFTIST PINHEADED CLOWNS suffer from a rather common affliction caused by a back-up of fecal matter that has caused massive swelling and dysfunction of the “reasoning” area of the brain.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, here is the solution!

“A COLOSTOMY is done when the lower large intestine, rectum, or anus is unable to function normally or needs rest from normal functions. Intestinal obstruction with associated inflammation, as in diverticulitis, is a common indication for colostomy.”

We owe this major medical, political and philosophical break thru to myself, Michelle, Deborah, Amused and many others on the RIGHT who repeatedly have recognized how FULL OF SHI* the CLOWNS are!

Just one huge group COLOSTOMY of the LEFTIST PINHEADS and things are certain to improve!!!!!!!

We’re talkin’ Nobel Prize here Amused!

Excellent Editorial in P-I by Chris Vance.....
But WHY, oh WHY did it take so long????
The R's seem to ALWAYS find themselves on the DEFENSIVE in this State and are waaaaaay too slow on the response trigger. I understand it's mighty difficult when the MSM is sooooooo against you....but clear Press Releases and Press Conferences and doing the necessary homework are lessons learned.
The R's need to build their databases QUICKLY.
What happened to all the data gathered by the YES on I-912 crowd and Rossi campaigns????
Vance needs to do EVERYTHING he can to by-pass the MSM and start e-mailing Washington residents DIRECTLY. Excuses aren't going to get us anywhere but further behind.

18. Wow, for once a headline here that is accurate, non-slanderous, and upon which we all can agree.

Posted by: JDB on November 27, 2005 01:18 AM
19. Dennis--
You need only go so far as your Webster's dictionary to understand that my friend:
clown(n)--
**One who habitually plays the buffoon.
**A rude ill-bred person
**A fool in a play or other entertainment.
I capitalize CLOWN to emphasize the high DEGREE of CLOWNISH behavior I seeregularly from the LEFTIST PINHEADS.
It is the one word, CLOWN, that captures the essence of the Party of Buffoons!!!

20. I had a very interesting conversation with 2 couples (Republicans) this AM who are live-a-boards at Shilshole Marina. 3 out of the 4 of them were challenged by Sotelo because of PO Boxes for residence.
Bottom-line is when they registered 3 years ago, they were told on several occassions they COULD NOT use Shilshole Marina as their RESIDENCE ADDRESS by KingCo Elections. They went thru a real hassle but were eventually allowed to register using their PO Box mailing address as their residence address. They followed the improper directions of KingCo Elections!!!
They were also really pi**ed that the Republicans waiting until 3 days before Election Day to file these challenges. Really pi**ed!! I tried to explain that the delay was in large part due to failures of KingCo to timely release all Public Records. I also informed them that it was DEAN LOGANclown who said there is nothing he is willing to do about this and the Party's are free to challenge improper registrations.
These folks unfortunately got most of their information about this debacle from the Seattle P-I. They believed only a handful of challenges were LEGIT!!!! When the reality is they vast majority were legit.....and only a few were challenged by people like them.
Lot's more to this conversation....but quite interesting.
The R's NEED to explain even better than Chris Vance has tried to WHY they waited until 3 days before the election.

Posted by: Mr. Cynical on November 27, 2005 08:20 AM
21. I think I read that the Republicans filed their challenges on the 26th of October. I imagine it takes a few days for KCRE to write letters and mail them. What's wrong with registering at the Marina where they live? They could even include their slip #

Posted by: sgmmac on November 27, 2005 12:27 PM
22. sgmmac asks:
What's wrong with registering at the Marina where they live? They could even include their slip #

The problem could be that things floating on the water do not reside, officially, in any precinct, and that by using a nearby post office, the question of which precinct to assign houseboats to goes away.

But I'm only guessing. I don't suppose we'll ever get an answer from KCE.

Posted by: huckleberry on November 27, 2005 01:42 PM
23. Apparently KingCo Elections would not accept the Marina & Slip # as their address of residence when they tried to register as such 3-4 years ago.
Someone told them to just use their mailing address and then it was accepted.

25. "A sideswipe accident between the two trains on Seattle's monorail Saturday night will likely put the system out of service until next year."

And the CLOWNS in Seattle wonder why the rest of us question their transportation acumen.
HOW IN THE HE** CAN THIS HAPPEN???!

This are no bounds to the low-level of competence in Seattle....The Anal Canal of the Universe!!
The knuckleheads responsible for this mishap at sure to get promoted....with a raise!

GO MONORAIL!!!! YEE-HAAAAAAAAA!

Posted by: Mr. Cynical on November 27, 2005 05:45 PM
26. And the Elitist Snobs in Seattle wonder how we "non-Progressives" can possibly make fun of them?!
I can't wait to see the spin the P-I and Times put on this!
They will call it an "accident".
ACCIDENT MY A$$!!!
It's yet another affirmation of 100% incompetence when it comes to transportation!

27. Looks like CNN's original account that the X over Cheney's speech was an accident, had to eat crow today, as it was the direct result of another self serving liberal. So CNN was lying about the incident to cover their ass.

31. Fog,

I looked for news on this subject on the completely unbiased Moveon.org, but hark their angels aren't discussing the CNN story!

So I have to depend on Drudge to give us the facts!

Posted by: GS on November 27, 2005 07:42 PM
32. Where do you suppose Drudge gets his facts when he cannot find them on a reliable source like moveon.org? Probably some thing as biased as he is like GOPUSA or Aryan Nations.

Posted by: Apache Fog on November 27, 2005 08:25 PM
33. We now know that of the two, Aryan Nations is the more reliable.

35. "A reliable source like moveon.org"?????

(looking with a mixture of sadness and amusement at the utter lostness of the person making such a statement)

Posted by: Misty on November 27, 2005 10:27 PM
36. Yeh when I read that I just though it was a horrible misuse of the English language to put both "a reliable source" and "Moveon.org" in the same sentence. But then I remembered the source.

37. Don’t look behind the curtain, but the Democrats running this state are gearing up to increase our taxes yet again. Check out the amusing reference to our gov. in this article: she is either a bald face liar or clueless according to her own self.

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2002650738_taxfight28m.html

Posted by: zip on November 28, 2005 01:31 AM
38. She lied to get in, claiming on her web page that she had never raised taxes on the people of washington, but then listed all the times Rossi had. So nothing surprises me when it comes to her words in print. She may not have said "Read my Lips, no new taxes, but she sure did write and speak everything but that.

I hope the voters remember these people when they go to the polls this next election. I sure will!

40. Read this article in today's P-I:
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/249945_gammons28.html.
Once again the Democrats get out in front of a key issue...accountability.
The State Republicans seem to deserve to be in the minority. Perhaps like the chronically abused person, they don't do anything because they like it.
The State R's need to have a clear agenda on issues that connect like ACCOUNTABILITY. Being against all tax increases alone doesn't cut it. Nor does a few "pandering" enviro-friendly type initiatives.
Why need solid programs that emphasize PUBLIC SAFETY, INFRASTRUCTURE and EDUCATION. We must also emphasize HOW we are going to first look at EXISTING REVENUES to pay for these things.
It seems so simple...The Contract with Washington or something like that.
R's are floundering rudderless post-Rossi.
How the R's ever lost the lead on this ACCOUNTABILITY issue is beyond me.

Posted by: Mr. Cynical on November 28, 2005 10:59 AM
41. We also need to hold Gregoire accountable for all her BS starting with:
1) The HEALING Tour---what in the HE** happened to that???
2) Eliminating 1,000 managers---what in the HE** happened to that shell-game?????

Gregoire just floats from one touchy-feely issue to another. The R's need to do a STATE OF THE STATE review 1 year into Gregoire's term. What has she said vs. what has she done???
R's tend to wait until the middle of Election Season before holding Dems accountable. And the R's simply have now clearly spelled out agenda of their own. STEAL SOME OF THE D's AGENDA FOR GOD"S SAKE AND IMPROVE ON IT....like accountability.
Here's another one---
EMPOWER LOCAL COMMUNITIES FINANCIALLY TO MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS for better or worse.
That will sell.
DO SOMETHING!
