Fraudulently Counted Ballot du Jour

This voter's registration record was correctly classified as "Fatal Pending" last October because she registered only with a P.O. Box and did not give a residence address. Accordingly, she was not eligible to vote.

Her provisional ballot envelope could have conceivably cured her defective registration if she had supplied her residence address. She did not. She was not eligible to vote. The ballot was clearly marked "Needs Further Research" (to verify eligibility before counting, which was not done). The ballot was counted anyway, apparently in precinct 1823!

1. So am I reading this correctly?

The registration was rejected by "hansentim" on 10/15/04, and on 2/18/2005, "elsomt" investigated and sent a letter to the voter to obtain MISSING INFORMATION before the gristration could be validated. But purely for the purposes of counting every vote, someone called "tester25" created a NEW RECORD for this voter on 11/9/2004...

Have I got that right? I wonder if "tester25" is a relative of "tester02"?

2. KCE has well defined rules for processing ballots:
1.) Count any and every vote.
2.) When voter registration does not meet RCW's or WAC's refer to rule #1.
3.) When the absentee envelope does not meet RCW's or WAC's refer to rule #1.
4.) When the provisional ballot envelope does not meet RCW's or WAC's refer to rule #1.
5.) If the ballot is improperly marked, refer to rule #1.
6.) If any doubts about a ballot arise, refer to rule #1.

4. Didn't expect much and therefore, was not disappointed. I posted this question to Sims on Seattle Times "Ask Ron Sims" event. To the Time's credit, they posted my question unedited. Here is the Q&A:

What assurance do we the voters have that the very persons in charge of the King County elections will run an honest counting, especially when you stand to lose your job if the count doesn't go your way? This seems like a huge conflict of interest with many still doubting the accuracy of the last general election.
— Jeff Campbell, Redmond

R.S.: Everyone associated with elections wants a perfect election. No one is willing to undermine the foundation of this democratic society, whether they are the staff of elections or elected officals within the county. We have found human error but never fraud.

SP posters; feel free to translate, probably quite similar to SouthernRoots post.

5. Ron Sims states, "Everyone associated with elections wants a perfect election."
If that's the case, Sims, then what are you doing towards that end? I thought you were satisified with the results "a bank could be proud of," which were less than perfect.

He continues, "No one is willing to undermine the foundation of this democratic society, whether they are the staff of elections or elected officals within the county."
I guess that the mysterious "tester02" is not included in that list, right? I note the possibly Freudian slip of "democratic" society...

He concludes with this howler: "We have found human error but never fraud." What definition of fraud is being used here? I suppose that you can prove that ALL these double votes, and illegal votes, and the mysterious "tester02" were just screw-ups. Of course, if you asked any of these people, why wouldn't they just say "I just screwed up; I wasn't deliberately committing fraud?" They wouldn't lie to avoid jail time, would they?

An excellent non-answer, Mr. Sims! Would you like my non-vote for you, too? (Of course, I can't vote for you anyway, being a resident of Pierce County, but hey--why should I let that stop me?!)

8. This is incredible!

She didn't even sign her last name on the provisional ballot. Her address is listed as a P O Box....and they STILL counted her ballot!

Tester 25 - validated her registration on 11/9/04.....for no reason other than to manipulate the election outcome...

If this isn't intentional election fraud......WHAT IS?

CLOWNS to the LEFT of me
JOKERS to the Far-Right
Here I am....stuck in the middle with you.

10. Is this transaction log complete? Why is the Nov. 9, 2004, entry for a "new record" on a different page of the pdf file? The log on page 5 shows an incomplete application to register to vote, and that would have excluded her ballot from the vote tabulation. Did someone go into the voter's registration record through some different process on Nov. 9 and change her record in a way which made it appear she was eligible to vote in the 2004 general election?

Was her name on the list of voters credited with voting that was released by King County on January 7, 2005? The transaction log seems to indicate that her name wouldn't have been included on that list when the data base was queried to compile the list, since she had not submitted a complete application (no "complete valid residence address").

11. Using tester25 as a login prevents the actions from being audited. There should be a limited number of people with the ability to use these ID's. Line them ALL up in a court room. Ask each one of them if they were tester25. If you get a yes I am tester25, examine their actions. If no one admits it, then fraud has occured. Or there is a list somewhere that state that tester25 is JOhn Doe

12. How is it Scooter Libby can fib about a non crime and be faced with 30 years in jail, and someone can vote twice in an Election and merely get a ho hum from a prosecutors office. Some people don't take democracy very seriously.
