Rossi Endorsed by the Seattle Times

Well, sorta. Don't miss Bruce Ramsey's plug for Dino Rossi's new book in the Seattle Times that is tantamount to an endorsement for 2008, and an ongoing pang of "buyer's remorse" that so many Dinocrats expressed (loudly) during the revote campaign. I would excerpt quotes, but it is a well written column and one you should read. Click here.

Okay, I'm gonna excerpt anyway. Here's my favorite bit:

"After 20 years of false starts, the Washington State Republican Party in 2004 finally found its emblematic face: a handsome, successful family man, religious with no hellfire, frugal as Franklin and right-brained as Reagan. A salesman of the nicer kind.

Compare him with Gov. Christine Gregoire. She is the logical, linear, left-brained lawyer. Also mentally very fast; let no one doubt she could best Rossi on the Stanford-Binet. But he battled her to a draw in a state that gave John Kerry a 205,000-vote lead and that trusted King County to count ballots."

I have already pre-ordered several copies of the book Dino Rossi for holiday giving. You should too, after all, it is history in the making and the Sound Politics community is making it happen (see below).

Thanks to Patrick Bell at Respectfully Republican for the suggestion, much obliged!

4. You know, i really don't like the Republicans very much, but I am pretty sick and tired of the Democrats running EVERYTHING in this state. Rossi is a breath of fresh air, albeit "Republican" air. I'd prefer some Libertarians in the mix.

5. "...let no one doubt she could best Rossi on the Stanford-Binet..." I DOUBT IT! Fraudoire doesn't strike me as intelligent at all. Over-officious, arrogant, full of herself...yes.
But intelligent? Nope. What is it about liberals that they think they are Soooooooo much smarter than conservatives? A sure sigh of someone's own feeling of self-inadequacy is "over compensation" in the behavior they are lacking in. If someone acts as if they are overly-intelligent, it's a sure sigh they know they aren't. The smartest people I know are quiet about it, and don't seem outwardly smart.

6. I wonder if he mentioned the potent impact of the blogosphere... at least in the acknowledgements? I think this blog helped to glavanize and energize a lot of the grassroots effort to get a fair election. As a forum adjunct to the radio, it helped Rossi supporters find each other. As an investigative source(Stefan primarily) it directly benefited the case against the faulty election.

7. Rossi is a lsoer on all fronts. A businessman with no real business experience. A leglislator who takes credit for the successes of others...and who sues to get a certified, verfied election overturned...and loses WITH prejudice from a judge thought to be most friendly to the rossi right wing agenda.

Since his real estate business is nowhere..he hopes to get money from book selling. All those who support him contribute to this.

8. Bo,

Not only do we support him and contribute to him - but if he runs again in 2008, we'll elect him AGAIN!!

Call him a loser if you like - but he whupped Gregoire TWICE in the most blue leftist liberal state in the nation!

So Gregoire must be an even bigger loser, eh? Hope you're enjoying your four short years with Christine. She was sure a great AG, she ignored most laws, cost the state millions of extra dollars, and let state employees abuse other state employees.

Since when was Judge Bridges (who wears an earring on the bench) considered most friendly to a right-wing agenda? Put down the hookah, dude. By the way, Judge Bridges agreed that there were over 1,500 illegal ballots cast in an election decided by 129 votes. That hardly sounds like Rossi lost 'with prejudice', whatever that means - Einstein! Lost with prejudice? Are you claiming that Bridges 'pre-judged' the trial??

Rossi is a winner. You're the loser. Hate to break it to ya, buddy. And Ron Sims is going down, by the way.

Your spelling of loser reflects the lack of intelligence. "loses WITH prejudice" ? Do us all a favor Bo and don't vote. Needless to say, you cannot prove anything that you wrote above - because it is so incoherent for one. I think that you and Dean Logan are in cahoots. Elect IRONS and Logan gets fired !!
