Double Voter du Jour

I found both of these absentee ballot envelopes only a dozen or so envelopes away from each other in the same batch!

1. Oh my Oh my, I wonder if any of the people involved in the $300,000 investigation bothered to look at the envelopes to see how many illegal or double voters voted. This is the shambles that Ron Sims says any bank would be proud of! Yeh Right!

2. It looks like Sun Do or Sundo was too busy filling out extra absentee ballots to put down the date as well. Was this one of the Chinese outreach ballots? An hour after filling one out
you want to fill out another!

3. Sundo is one of the 'sundry' asians Pete VonReichbauer is courting - somebody tell Phil Fortunado!

4. Gee.....

Except for the fact that both ballots are friggin IDENTICLE.....I can see how those nifty elections workers would have missed the duplicate!....Duh!

I wonder if the voter is even a US citizen? Wouldn't that just be dandy? To have an ineligible voter - vote twice? Heh....

Why not? That would just fit the King County level of acceptable chaos....

5. Sun do was credited with voting in 2004 even with out dating his envelope..Another strike against Logan

Posted by: timman on October 3, 2005 07:11 PM
6. If Mr. Hong didn't date *either* ballot when he signed them, doesn't that invalidate them, per the instructions written on them?!
The question to be asked next is this: who let this slip through? Who was the worker who forget about dates?
How can Sims or Logan be taken seriously, at face value, when confronted by things like this? Are they really ignorant about all this, or just covering it up?

7. Can you refer this to AG McKenna for investigation? Tell us what the response is.

8. How many of these double registered voters are out there?

Posted by: sgmmac on October 3, 2005 08:03 PM
9. Sun Do registered in 1996. Sundo registered in 2004.

10. Stefan---
Do you happen to have the home mailing address of Mr. Pretend Auditor Ernie Hawkins????
Perhaps we can all invest a few 37 cent stamps to print a copy of these obvious errors and mail it to him along with a cc: to David Postman at the Seattle Times.
I wonder if we could call Ernie at home?
Do you think he would mind?
If Ernie voted, Ernie was disenfranchised by these double voters too.
And Mrs. Ernie too!

11. You would think if the guy was going to register twice, he might use the name Sundo and on the other registration use the name Sundon't!!!
I guess the Sundo shine when you get away with voting twice!

12. You guys don't get the joke. They don't care, they don't have to, because there are more than enough stupid voters who just keep re-electing them. You can't stop idiots from voting, it's their legal right.

Forrest Gump was right, "Stupid is as stupid does"
The problem is that you just can't fix stupid.

13. From Stefan's database, there are two records. One for 'Sun Do Hong' registered in 1996 and 'SunDo Hong' registered in 2004. The KC database, from which Stefan's db is a copy of, shows the same two records. These two records, except for the 2004 presidential primary, are identical back to 1998. Every primary and every general are credited as voting, (except the primary in 98).
It is 'AS IF' (1) SunDo (or Sun Do) properly and honestly filled out a 'change of address' (or chage of name) and KC elections DUPLICATED a record in the database in 2004, and then FAILED to archive the original record, and sent out two absentee ballots.
or (2) the father-son pair are very reliable voters.

I think option (1) is more likely and points to a serious problem in database management. I am ignoring simple fraud with the above analysis.

16. Cicero:

No investigation unless Sun Do is over eighty eight years old and half consumed with dementia. If he is, then watch out Mr. Hong.

18. I know that this double voting is a serious matter. After all, it disenfranchises every legitimate for who only voted once.
But I still try to find a bit of humor in all of this....if even for a brief moment.
For some reason, when I saw the name SUN DO HONG, I immediately thought of that goofy, lovable character in the movie SIXTEEN CANDLES named Long Duc Dong!!!!!! Remember that movie!
Stefan---
Just out of curiosity....PULLLLLLEASE tell nobody named Long Duc Dong voted. PUUULLLLEEEASE!

19. No investigation as long as it is in democratic leaning precincts. They know only Republicans cheat at elections. Democrats are honest hardworking individuals that do no wrong. Need never be investigated because they are the only ones who know what the rest of us need. Democrats will never bring up racist activities of their members or any wrong doings. Because it is for the the kids sack. The evil Republicans must be stopped at all means available honest or dishonest. Because they(Democrats) are the only ones who care. Republicans kill grandma and starve the children.
Did not Bill Clinton's administration stop IRS audits on Democratic donors? Hard to say because the Democrats are trying to block a report about that subject. That includes Lawyers from the Clinton's blocking its release in Court. So do we have an independent Judicial or a Judicial system run by the Democrats. IE Ted Kenedy and A certain HEad Justice to block all new nominees to his court until after certain cases have been decided.(The Whistle blower loses his job and the actual crime is swept under the rug) Gee whiz. I bet the same thing will happen if they attempted to bring this to court. KC prosecutors do not want to show Democrats violating the law just Republicans.

21. Yet evil can never be greater than its sight - it is bound by time, while good exist outside of time.

I've read the end of the book. The good guys win.

I've got to imagine though that Sam Adams is a shaking his head. 45% taxation and tyranny growing by leaps and bounds.

Hey, darn it, I missed Monday night football. Oh well at least the National Bread and Circuses League has added Thursday nights. Back to the couch.

This just in: The Green Dragon Inn has been condemned by the USSC and is to be torn down for redevelopment.

24. Stefan,

When I turned over in bed today, Jim West told me, "You know you lost Dino but you will always be special to me."

Keep up the excellent work mein liebchen, we may have gotten our bottoms handed to us the first time, but I love the smell of Wenatchee in the autumn. We'll win the second round, even if I have to blow the judge myself. Onward to Olymia!

If you get to 131, we can have some fun!

Love Ya,

Dino

25. I just read the article in today's paper about the audit. I particularly liked this paragraph:

"Auditors found no evidence of fraud in what was the closest governor's race in state history, Hawkins said. County election officials also have made "significant and noteworthy progress" in improving flaws that allowed invalid ballots to be counted and left valid ballots uncounted, Hawkins said."

If that's the case, how could fraud not have happened?

26. Count every vote. Count every vote.
That is a ballot with a vote. That is a ballot with a vote.
Must count votes. Must count votes.

28. Now I know why this bogus audit said they needed more Chineese interpreters......It is so they can make sure that double voters such as this one date their ballots

29. A single fraudulent cast vote is small, like a puzzle piece. A fraudulent vote here and there; who will know? But take all those small fraudulent votes, put them all together and a bigger picture appears. Election Fraud. Is it not enough that someone or some group wants election outcomes their way. Be it Right, Left, Green, Libertarian, Socialist or Communist. It is a take over; voting rights are violated, our right to vote fairly and have them counted honestly is the back bone of our government.

These dogs deserve the rope after a good stoning. If anyone can over look this atrocity as payback or as 'time wasted', than you are no better than the dogs who engineered this.

My liberty and freedom, choice of government representative, and to confirm that "We The People" is still what it states, this is what is at stake here. Nothing could be more important.

Posted by: Son of Liberty on October 4, 2005 08:15 AM
30. Son of Liberty is right. If our right for a fair and honest election is corrupted, all our right can be stripped from us, one by one. We become subjects, not citizens. It is already happening with property rights, taxation, rejecting voters desires, on and on...

Their here......

31. Logan, et al strikes yet again. Not only were both votes counted, but neither were dated. The instructions clearly state that failure to sign and date the oath WILL invalidate your vote. Logan cannot even follow his own instructions, much less conform to state and federal election law.

Stefan, what's the cound now?

32. Hey, they used two diffent stamps! Doesn't that negate that whole "one man, one vote" thing?

Posted by: Jeremy on October 4, 2005 09:31 AM
33. Well, I don't think more Chinese interpreters would have helped this guy (I know this is a guy from his name), since this is more than likely a Korean voter. I am Korean American myself, and I apologize for this man's act on behalf of all other honest Korea American.
