And speaking of the Seattle Silly Council
The Stranger is hosting a forum for all Seattle Silly Council candidates -- this evening at 6:30 at the Broadway Performance Hall, 1625 Broadway.
Admission to the forum is free. Failure to do due dilligence and letting the wrong people get elected to the Council will cost you more than you would believe.

1. Stephan,
Do really think a openly liberal white male has a chance in this election? Of course you do, this is Seattle after all. But hey, we can hope some of the KoolAid drinkers will be coherent enough to vote and outnumber the dead and illegal voters in King County.
2. What an appropriate place for some of these bad actors to play-act yet another farical mini-drama in the ongoing saga of the mindless epic entitled ADSURDISTAN...LIFE SUCKS!
3. Gee one would think he would declare his Party affiliation in his advertisement. He must be ashamed of it! I wonder if he will declare his affiliation on the voting ballot in September!
4. There are no good choices for the Silly Council. There are only bad choices. The most bad among them will surely be voted on by the idiots that live in Seattle.
What happened to the movement to put "none of the above" on ballots anyway. I'd love to see that!
5. ...and we here in Spokane can only watch this train wreck from afar...
"Course, we have our own train wreck (Mayor West) to deal with.
Igor
6. No kidding!!
7. Paige did all those things on her website, all by herself?! And none of them have any controversy or pork attached, or anything like that?
Wow--she must be amazing! I guess I'd better vote for someone like that! Oh...oops...I'm not a King County resident--but hey, that won't make a difference if I just pretend I'm a Democrat, right?
8. Since there are more dogs than kids in Seattle shouldn't the dogs be getting equal representation? Oh, that is right they are. Plenty of curs on the Council it would seem. Now what about representation for the humans? Are there any of those left in the city?
9. Speaking of Seattle and Dogs -- I tried to phone in a report on a stray dog yesterday at 1:15 in the afternoon to the Seattle Animal Control and could not get through to any live person and then went on the web - as directed by the phone answering machine (what's a person w/o computer supposed to do???) -- filled in all the blanks and submitted form - then got a reply that report had been received and they would get back to me -- no refernece or report number was assigned -- 24 hours later I have yet to have heard another word from the animal control people - by phone or email -- Dog in question - expensive purebred full sized male English Bulldog - with collar and NO license -- dog had not been fixed -- with assistance from neighbors we kept dog around and watered and finally about 4 a guy showed up who owns dog -- no one in our vicinity had ever seen the dog before --
Bottom line -- the mentality and abilities of the people running things around here - Seattle/KC -- are on a par with those in Lousy-anna >> except that the clowns down there do not pretend to be 'as pure as the clean driven snow' --
10. Bill, dont worry, I shot the dog dead. Move on here, nothing to see.
11. Bill--noble to save the dog; happy ending; well done;
critique: your only mistake in Seattle? not calling the dog in to the authorities as a "homeless" dog or "illegal alien" dog; Bingo--(no pun)--assistance car on scene within minutes; along with grief conselor--(for dog);
12. Jimmie liked your post! One ? The cost to the taxpayer for said dog,s expenses?
13. .....conservatives bite..........
