Irons plan to address elections woes

David Irons held a press conference today where he announced his Plan to Address King County Elections Woes.

He was joined by Bob Bruce, who held the #2 and then #1 jobs in King County Elections from 1989 until his retirement in 2002. Bruce was highly regarded by both elections staff and the voting public. [Hint: look at Ron Sims' own task force anonymous survey of elections office workers that was released in June. At the top of page 3 we learn that 59% of employees surveyed believe that things in the office have gotten worse since Bruce's retirement in January 2002]

If elected, Irons said he will appoint Bruce as a key technical advisor to help turnaround the department. Smart move.

1. I want to see this in the newspaper!

David Irons has to continue to be vocal....VERY Vocal - especially on the issues that the people are *most* concerned about!

Elections corruption
CAO
Corruption in KC departments
Taxes
Homeless nonsense

4. Irons is definitely the man - integrity, common sense and amazing work ethic. If you want a bullhorn donate money! Sims has been strong arming county employees for years to donate to his campaign. The PDC reports show Irons has raised more money than Sims each month since March, when Irons filed, but it it's only a few months to the election. I have maxed out in my contribution - and if you want him to make more noise you should too. Make Irons loud - help him buy air time!
