1. I wondered why I got the weekly weather highlights from them
"The Washington Legislature's listserv has been hijacked by spammers.
sorry to always be such a curmudgeon, but in all honesty, who could tell?????
Looks more like they don't have any filters on what can go to the list serve - not that it was hijacked.
Amusing nonetheless. Simple IT fix should get rid of the issue - but not the hurt inboxes :)
5. It's a revenue source, leasing server space.
6. Well as long as it was spammers and not legislators I guess that is a proper use of the list servers. If it were legislators, we would be getting emailings about how much more money they need, how much more property they want to steal and how we can help them! At least I can delete and get rid of spammers! Wish it were true with the thieving Washington state legislative bunch.
7. They got Spammed!!OUCH! sorry Dan & Pam Roach don,t deserve this or Tim Sheldon but, anyone who voted against 912 or I-900 is getting thier just desserts!
