New comedian joins King County Canvassing Board

The King County Canvassing Board, which illegally certified the November 2004 election, will have a new member this fall, Democrat Councilman Dow Constantine (D-CAO). Constantine replaces retiring Councilman Dwight Pelz (D-Havana), pictured above as Chico. Constantine's most distinguished contribution to cleaning up after the elections scandal is that he has hasn't said anything at all during the various Council meetings dedicated to the subject, which possibly means that he is less of an enthusiast for fraudulent voting than are fellow Democrats Pelz, Phillips, Patterson, Edmonds and Gossett.

Now if they could only also replace Harpo and Groucho.

1. That's good. Now we need to get you a job doing these cartoons for a local paper and getting paid.

Just local or are you considering national politics in your caricatures?

2. It appears these cartoon characters are a bit PINHEADED. However, you forgot the most important Marx Brother of all as far as these LEFTIST PINHEADS are concerned.....that would be KARL!
You see...
Seattle traffic would not be in such a snarl...
If Marx had been Groucho instead of KARL!

4. RE: Dow Constantine: let's not forget the effort early this year to recall him from office for his misrepresentations, distortions, and material omissions (i.e. lies) re: the CAO's effect, in newspaper pieces he had published in his King County Council District 8 (i.e. in the Vashon Beachcomber and West Seattle Herald); and, for ignoring and voting (and advising the other 6 D's on the council to do likewise, which they did) against the advice of King County's own assistant prosecuting attorney, who testified before the full council when they voted on the CAO, on one of the amendments to the CAO which discriminatorily exempted public schools from one of the CAO's most onerous provisions (but did not similarly exempt private schools, which the assistant PA as much as said violated the U.S. Constitution, had been litigated under similar circumstances, and would likely result in a lawsuit King County would lose). And he's now on the canvassing board?

7. Jeffro,

I stand corrected, thanks:) I must have had stooges on the mind when considering the references to our "elected leaders".

9. Fed UP-

"Stooges" most definitely a better description.

10. King County elections are to carefully orchestrated for this to be anything but positive for Ron Sims and the Democratic machine in Seattle. I don't anticipate any improvement from Constantine.
