Have another COW, Man

Monday's King County Council Committee-Of-the-Whole will have a briefing on elections. If this is like all of the previous council meetings on elections, we can expect:

Good questions and comments from Kathy Lambert, David Irons, Steve Hammond, Reagan Dunn, Bob Ferguson and possibly from Jane Hague.
Idiotic questions and comments from Carolyn Edmonds, Julia Patterson, Larry Phillips, Dwight Pelz and Larry Gossett.
Dow Constantine and Peter von Reichbauer will stay quiet the whole time with vacant stares on their faces.

Watch the fun on KCTV starting at 10am. But please, no wagering.

1. I'll watch it....but..it is so extremely painful to watch Julia Patterson and Larry Phillips during a council meeting! They are purposely ignorant, loopy and smug - as though they took a couple of hits of acid prior to the taping and don't give a damn that the public is watching!
They will defeat every good intention and recommendation launched from their Republican counterparts - and act giddy as children doing it!

Gossett has a deck of race cards to throw at anything the Republicans try to correct.....and Pelz is still brimming over his part in last Novembers fraud success!

Do I really have to watch this?

2. The definition of insanity is repeating the same action and expecting a different result.

King County is a disfunctional mess filled with graft and dirty dealing. If we send 9 incumbants back in November we send them the message that we approve of the way they do business. Only by my election to the council can we turn this around and give Kathy Lambert and the rest of the "good guys" the tools they need to make some meaningful change in how King County is run.

You have my pledge that I will not rest until we have a complete scrubbing of the voter roles, preferably by a complete re-registering, to ensure that those that are casting votes are legal voters.

If we send the same people back and expect different results we are complete fools. It's time to stop the insanity and change the balance of power.

3. you hedged on Jane Hague; the one who worked at KCRE (so had some expertise) but never said boo during the fiasco. Toss her out.

4. I would file Jane Hague into the vacant stare group.

6. I'll place the first bet, opps no wagering.

Theme of the day: Count Every Vote.

Key point not to be covered. The difference between legal and illegal votes.

As to watching; my TV would not survive the experience.

7. Deane's comments aside, I have real work to do and can't watch these fools "play with themselves".

8. When I watched the beginning of this council session Dwight Pelz' chair was empty. Did he show up later, or did he blow this meeting off the same way he blows off most other meetings on serious issues?

9. Yes.....The King Council "Council as a Whole" meeting was missing Julia Patterson too! Her absence sure does make one wonder about her loopy and less than sober appearance at previous televised meetings........
Perception is everything!

Pity......(NOT)
