1. I think the clock on here is a little fast. The present posting says 1:27 p.m., but by all indications it is only 1:21 p.m. Can I become a local ASS by quibbling over these matters?
And it ain't 1:29 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. now either :)
2. Sure ya can Richard.
3. Excuse me while I ****PUKE****
4. Hmmmmmm...............
5. Further nominations:
Ron Sims, County Exec of the Year
Dean Logan, Election Super of the Year
Judge Wickham, Protector of the First Amendment of the Year
If they voted Reed in, our systems is in far deeper trouble than I thought.
6. I've got a better title for him National laughing stock of the Year!! Any one have any other good titles for our nauseating SOS?!
7. Like they say
" If the shoe fits...."
8. Mayor Greg Nickels & Dimes Us

9. Mayor Greg Nickels & Dimes Us
Mayor of the Year?

10. Strangely a propos.
11. "It is a great honor to assume this new position" Reed said in a written statement.
Yeah, right Sam. Assume the position. Of being unemployed at the next opportunity.
12. I wonder if is possible to ask for a recount?
Nah. Guess not.
13. Barf.
14. "It is a great honor to assume this new position," Reed said in a written statement.
Assume the position......as national ASS....:-)
I thought that had to be a spoof article at first!
15. Our favorite RINO is a classic example of The Peter Principle in action...
16. Simply incredible!
17. Christine Gregoire for Governor of the Year?
18. cc said it best.
19. These government associations act are publicly subsidized lobbyists/cheerleaders/waystations for career bureaucrats. Reed was president of the State Association of County Auditors. Former Pierce County Cathy Pearsal-Stipek was president of the National Association of County Recorders, Election Officials and Clerks [www.nacrc.org/nacrc.htm]. Thurston County Superior court found that she violated state election laws (overturned on appeal). The State Supreme Court approved a recall based on her falsely stating her credentials in a sworn deposition (she claimed to have two degrees from the UW and had none). I recall she was a great advocate for expanding absentee/mail-in voting and eliminating polling stations. Likewise, Reed's "election reform package" expands mail-in voting and would have further limited the people's right to initiative.
20. Wonder who counted the votes?
21. I apologize ahead of time for being crude, but this really does beg the question: who did Reed blow to get this one?
22. Why do I get the impression the answer is.....everyone.
