1. We are not amused. You have been told what you need to know. (/King Sims)

2. Did I recall Uncle Remus? The King County 'tar baby' tactic?

3. Ron Sims handler,

Ask your boss Ron Sims, why not just come clean?
It's easy, just do what you are required by law, and tell the truth . . . that is unless you have something to hide?
What do you expect people to believe?
Because you are black and a Democrat, whatever you do no matter how non-sensical and how much it stinks of corruption, is O.K.?
Your actions make every inference that the answer to my question is YES.

4. What I mean by my comment above is, suing KC or fighting the government is just like sticking to the tar baby. A real mess!

Good luck to all you freedom of info and public disclosure soldiers! I agree with other posters--if you are doing your job and honest, who cares about disclosure?

If you made honest mistakes, the public will likely understand. Just be up front. That's all I ask. Creating barriers only makes us mistrust ALL of you gov workers--unfair but that's life. You earned the rep just like used car salesmen--it wasn't because of our--your employers'--actions.

Here's the latest update to my earlier update, the link to which in Stefan's post had changed when I updated it. The day's been crazy with this schedule change, sending out an email broadcast, responding to reporters who've had to change their plans for stories and coverage (e.g. one outlet was already planning a story for next week, and will still do it, but now has to change what they'll do, another reporter was on the phone with me just before I got the news and we were going over what his outlet would do, who would normally have covered it but was out of town, etc.).

12:42 PM, Tuesday, July 27, 2005 update with new court date; updating earlier NEWS FLASH RE: TOMORROW'S COURT HEARING CANCELLED; RESCHEDULED TO FRIDAY, AUGUST 19, 10 AM. JUDGE THREW HIS BACK OUT.

NOTE NEW POST LINK: THE BELOW WAS JUST POSTED TO MY WWW.YOUSOUFIAN.BLOGSPOT.COM blog as:
