Dean Logan goes Hollywood (II)

If you didn't already see the trailer of Dean Logan and Ron Sims' first Hollywood movie together be sure to check it out!

And on a more serious note, Logan is speaking at the Election Center's conference in Beverly Hills next month, holding a breakout session titled "Challenged Elections and Recounts". Presumably these are instructions on how to screw the voters in a challenged recount and still keep your job. It would be fascinating to get the audio or even a copy of the Powerpoint presentation.

The Election Center, by the way, is the organization that's conducting the King County Council's audit of Logan's department. Hopefully the auditors do not include whoever it was from the Election Center that was so impressed with Logan's brilliance that they scheduled him as an expert speaker.

1. "The Election Center, by the way, is the organization that's conducting the King County Council's audit of Logan's department."

Are you serious???

This is insane!

2. This is embarrasing!! Apparently, Logan has on shame!! Nor his cronies & we know who they are!!

3. At least they have scheduled the "Ethical Dilema Discussion" prior to Logan's presentation. They can assuredly use Him as an Example of "A Lack of" the Prior Presentation

4. Dean Logan just keeps getting more and more famous! I'm just looking forward to the day when he starts appearing on tabloids...

5. Which reminds me, I just finished an article by Bob Williams of the EFF for Imprimus Magazine. No doubt some others of you have read it.

I was reminded about the 'divined' vote from a stray mark that didn't even look like a vote.

I was also reminded of the fact that election workers were instructed to look at how a voter voted in other categories on the ballot and 'create' a vote for them in the governor section, even if there wasn't one before.

a righteous anger welled up in me when I read that last one. This CANNOT be allowed to happen again and we have to scream and beat these people over the head (figuratively, of course) about it until they stop. It's an outrage.

6. And btw, if you ask Bill Huennekens about the stray mark vote, he says he doesn't know about it.
My FOOT, he doesn't! He's paid to know about this stuff. Why do WE have to know more than he does about this corrupt stuff?

7. Having Logan give this speech is like inviting Clinton to give a talk on how to stop sexual harassment. Of course, this is taking place in Beverly Hills, not exactly a hotbed of intelligent lifeforms.

It could be the Limousine Liberals are trying to get tips from the master on how to include illegals and dead people on the voter rolls and get away with it. If this is their objective, Logan is their man. Let's hope he moves down there permanently to be with his own kind.

8. Beverly Hills? MAN--I'd LOVE to see THEIR Tent Cities!!! ...and Logan's book comes out when???

9. So how much is he going to ring the poor tax payers up for? I hope he's getting a free ride by that group, but even if he is you know they're getting something back in return under boards. Of course when he gets caught for doing a misdeed, he'll just mumble and lie his way around until Sims gives him a raise for being the perfect employee.

or

How to Steal an Election in Broad Daylight

With reference material from Uncle Joe Stalin an Mayor Daily.

Should be a hoot, can we get a spy in to record the lecture?

11. I hope he takes the tour package and gets dropped on 7th and Alameda after dark. The boy will have a whole new understanding of homeless voters.
One can only hope

12. I am confused as to how this organization can do a fair and valid review when they have obviously have some sort of relationship with Dean Logan......

14. With the election department in the shambles it's in, Dean Logan should NOT be speaking at any of this, except as an expert on how NOT to do things.

15. Ha! I just noticed that Teresa LePore, infamous Democrat designer of Palm Beach County's 2000 BUTTERFLY BALLOT, is also a break-out session speaker! Man, do they have NO standards at these meetings?

16. I want to ask why King County is looking for a new 23 million election center?

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2002389072_election19m.html

I have a cost saving suggestion to make after the past election.

I would humbly ask the Appointed election committee who is mirroring everything Ron Sims is in favor of in Election Reform, the following question:

Would it not be cheaper for the taxpayers in King County if we just laid off the entire election department, and had Ron Sim's hand pick the regional and national election winners. He is surely the Lord of Washington, and it would eliminate the need for elections and election reform in the state.

We would end up with the same results today!

18. Logan speaking eh? What's the matter? Is there a shortage of professional stand-up comic that day?

19. Yes, Washington State IS an example for the rest of the states. It is an example of what the socialist/libs in this country would have the entire USA doing if they could. It makes perfect sense that Logan and Sims would want to spread the election stealing gospel. They successfully pulled off what Al Gore couldn't in the 2000 election. You bet the democrats are looking at Washington leaders and saying to themselves; "we have to find out how this bunch pulled this off and repeat it all across the nation". I just hope the nations REPUBLICANS are also looking at Washington as an example of how low the enemy is willing to go to steal power, and are busily planning counter strategies. If they aren't we're in for more of the same across the nation. Watch out National GOP! They're coming after YOU next!

20. Does anyone really care what Beverly Hills and Hollywood think? Having Logan speak there is like a chimp uttering grunts to a well-dressed baboon colony. A world class chess tournament in an asylum. But, like the Hell's Angles, it will get splashy page 1 coverage in the Seattle papers. Like I really care about gangs and incompetent jackasses.

21. I just asked the Elections Center this question:

What was your reasoning behind having Dean Logan as a guest speaker at your conference next month? Is it because he is from the State of Washington and we had a challenged election? If so, I would think that there are far better candidates from other counties in the state that could offer more insight. Mr. Logan still does not know why things went wrong under his watch or at least won't admit publicly to them. He doesn't believe in accountability or even real reform and I think that his speaking at your conference does a disservice to the attendees.

I'll let you know what they say.....if anything.

22. On our Dime !!!

There is one more question you could pose to them if they call you back.

Ask them WHY are they inviting him to speak if they are contracted to "investigate" audit what happened under his Watch? How can they present a good seminar without the answers of the Audit?

I liken this to inviting the "Three Little Pigs" to dinner, and the Butler (Wolf) greets them at the door.
