1. I'm glad that he is not backing off of his original statement about the Supreme Court. I do hope that he will change his mind and run for KC Executive. I'm sure that he would change the climate in KC.

2. Screw that! I'd hate to see him go back on his previous stance but he needs to kill Cantwell's re-election hopes then sidestep into the governor's mansion in '08.

3. I believe that most of us would like to see that Adriel.

4. The man is governor material, not sentorial. No disrespect to Dino, it takes different types of foks for those different offices. The goverenor's mansion in '08 and '12 then move up after Jeb vacates 1600 Pennsylvania in '12. Hehehehe.

5. I could think of better guys to fill the DC mansion than Jeb, but I agree with you on the other parts.

6. "But I've been consistent (against running): I can't figure out how to make it work for my family and, No. 2, how do I fix my state from that position? It's very clear I don't think those two things would become a yes."

As for the widespread assumption he'll gird for a new race against Gregoire, "I'm not making any commitment to that," he said in the TVW interview."

Hmmm... I wonder what Dino's plans are?
He's obviously concerned about the current state of affairs here in Washington - yet - he isn't making a committment to run for governor...
He is definitely going to do something.....

7. JCM, that's the route I and one of my kids think he should go :-)

8. Rossi is a loser.

9. Chuck, Mrs. Gregoire may be in the gov mansion, but she'll never have as much class as Dino---heck, she had to copy his campaign words to 'win'! She's still the Gray Davis of WA---special interests ARE her interest

10. Why do people keep bringing up these second and third rate consolation prizes (US Senate and KC Executive, respectively)? Why waste a proven statewide vote-getter like Rossi on a local contest (KC Executive)? Why throw him the bone of a US Senate race when he has made it clear he doesn't want to sacrifice his family life to live 3000 miles away in that cesspool (DC)? The national and state parties are wasting their time trying to browbeat Rossi into taking on those things. If his heart really isn't in it, how effective of a candidate would he be? Just take the man at his word.

11. I am highly disappointed that our Republican candidate for governor is now considering forming a committee to help candidates from BOTH parties win elections. Both parties? What did the democrats do for us?

12. I sure hope Dino runs for governor in 2008 we could sure use his clear logic!!
