Let see, if I follow the logic. Republicans claim falsified absent ballot reconciliation, that was just a "honest" mistake, 875 more ballots than voters, Oh the reconciliation was so flawed we can't tell how many folks really voted.

That Horses** (his web site) just confirmed the case, it was so screwed up we don't how many legit votes there are.

11. A caller into John Carlson's show just made a great point... No one has mentioned all the absentee ballots that people don't send it, for one reason or another...which means that the absentee ballot count could be much further off. Many times absentee ballots are sent to people who have moved away, or have died....and those ballots, hopefully, have been discarded. Wouldn't that mean that there were even more fraudulent ballots, assuming that there was a record of how many were mailed out in the first place? Hmmm..isn't that in question though...whether or not anyone kept a record of how many absentee ballots were actually sent out?

Just like a Democrat can not win an arguement so try to destroy the opponent. When will the Democrats like ever get a brain cell. It make take more than a million democrats to come up with something worthwhile besides taking everyones money.
THis should be a discussion of ideas. Put ideas forth yet the Democratic party stopped that decades ago. We need more money is the mantra that we here day in and day out. Why does everyone including Democrats support no new taxes? Why do a majority of working people want government reform(That includes a lot of Democrats I know)? Just because you dont want your job analysised does not mean it is not a good idea to look at government performance. Or is your performance on the low side and you would lose your precious job. Just because you want to attack people instead of listen to real problems and real solutions.
Election reform #1 item on the list. Tell me why democrats are against Voter ID. Could it be because some of the democrats vote more than once. How else can you explain the dead walking into the poll place. Something stinks about that one. Either the person or the process. You figure it out.
Government Reform #2. I want the roads fixed but not at paying 10 times more than the actual cost. A previous post stated in SD it cost about 1/10 as much to build a longer road than what it costs here. Maybe we pay the government employees too much. Or is there waste in the process. A true analyis would show how to save money and get more roads for the buck. Throwing more money at a broken system means even less will get done. WE have seen decades of Democratic rule in the State and how many miles of New road where produced. I think SD added more lane miles in the past 2 or 3 years than the # of lane miles produced in WA state in the past Decade. ANd they are a poor state with a smaller population but weather that destroys the roads faster than what takes place in WA state. Oh yes and their roads are in much better condition inspite of the annual pothole fixes that need to be done every year.
Third ITem is Illegal Aliens. How much tax payer money is being given to illegals? Because if you are a legal resident Alien there is a federal law that prevents them from going on welfare for 5 years. SO illegals get welfare and legal aliens get nothing. Blame it on the feds like everyone else. it is still the government will to get as many votes as possible to theDemocratic party. SO welfare and voting go hand in hand. How many illegal aliens voted in the last election? How many legal aliens voted in the last election? A hundred, A THousand or maybe 10 thousand. WHen is KC going to open up a voting registration office in Nepal or Peking. I noticed that we had people registered to vote with a mailing address in India. Why did the Democrat lawyers block getting the list of legal aliens in the state to compare to the voting rolls. COuld there be another smoking gun here? Think about it we are not stupid Republicans. WHen you cry to load about certain things then it is obvious that someone had better look into that information.

Now, to those who state that it is just a blog. Your assumption is that a blog is strictly an opinion site. While the comments/feedback portion of blogs are meant to bring out opinions and discussion, the main article portion of blogs can be varied. If Stefan agrees that soundpolitics is meant to only be an opinion forum, then I would agree with your statement. I have not received that impression from what Stefan has reported in the past and from the way John Carlson has portrayed Stephan on his show.

My impression is that Stefan is attempting to be the "new press" that isn't beholden to the special interests of the corporations that now control the media industry, not unlike many other bloggers. Blogging is attempting to rewrite the way people receive news. Because the attempt is there to report on events and give a different side of the story, many in the blogging community want to be considered the "new" journalist. As such, though, not unlike other professions, one does need to come up with a code of ethics. I don't believe Stefan is attempting to be the tabloid, gossip rag of the political right (e.g., Star or National Enquirer of the right). Therefore, my point is if he wants to be considered serious and his research reviewed for its journalism, then he needs to start acting like a journalist, which means abiding by a code of ethics. If Stefan wants this to be only an opinion page, then so be it. I can live with that and only put a grain of thought in what he reports, as I do most opinion writers these days. Only Stefan can answer the question of what he wants the blog to be.

I started reading in December 04. Stefan's writing has always been easy to read, and in layman's terms. He lets the reader form their own opinion.

It takes great constraint to be constantly slammed by another blog, for reporting based on facts or data that is available at the time.

TC...Imagine walking out of your home each & every morning (for 6 months) and 35 people are standing on the sidewalk calling you "names". How would you react? Would you walk away? Stefan walks away every day, but sometimes he let's them know how he feels about it.....

It is his Blog, and he can say what he likes, but frankly, he is a gentleman most mornings and once in a while he REacts like the people on the sidewalk.

His Blog is my source of info, and it is my choice. I don't need my "news" watered-down, I prefer it Straigh UP, and that is how Stefan Reports it.

This Code of Ethics you refer to, does it include unbias reporting? If so, then hold the MSM in King County to that same level.

There's a funny thing I've noticed about dogs - they like to drink from the toilet. You can give them a fancy dish, pour fresh water from the bottle, encourage them, even scold them, and still they keep going back to the toilet.

I know that it doesn't do any good to try to intellectualize with them that drinking from the toilet is bad for them, or unhealthy, or just plain disgusting - they just wouldn't understand.
