Hard Slog

Since Monday, The Stranger has a blog of its own: Slog. Being only a week old, it is still trying to find its voice; the current posts are a scattering of Cannes news, local happenings and Saddam's underwear. But with contributions by much of the Stranger's news and editorial staff, it has great potential.

Welcome to the Blogosphere, folks. One request: turn on comments! Good advice for Boeing goes double for the media.

1. What? No calls by Shark to cancel subscriptions or boycott a paper?

Oh, right, Andy isn't Shark, and The Stranger is a free weekly, and Shark is a guest columnist for The Stranger.

BTW - notice how few MSM blogs, if any, have comments turned on. Still too much of a one way street IMO.
