"Consuming News in the Age of the Blog"

I'll be a panelist in a forum called Consuming News in the Age of the Blog, organized by the Evans School and the Washington News Council.

Thursday, May12, 6:00pm-8:00pm, 309 Parrington Hall, UW Campus
Jim Miller and Brian Crouch will be panelists for the 12 - 2pm session tomorrow, Tuesday, May 10.

2. This is going to be interesting and I wish I could be there.
I believe there is a huge shift in the way people receive the news but also spread the news. The Web, the Blogs, and even simple email is driving the information train. The immediate effect is to demonstrate the absolute chasm that exists between the MSM and the population in general. MSM can't, won't or don't understand it and will be playing catchup for the next few years. (Check out the NYT statement)
Shark, I hope we get to see a summary.

Hasn't it occurred to you that the event will occur amidst the leftie ocean of the UW campus? That's like Billy Graham and Pat Robertson holding a seminar in a mosque.
