It would almost be worth the price of admission to show up wearing a Re-Elect Rossi T-shirt!

1 The haughty, French-looking Massachusetts Democrat, who by the way promised 91 days ago to release his military records.

1. JFK II is getting worried about his BIG GIFT for the hand recount!

2. Stefan, I like the way you think. Re-Elect Rossi t-shirts, matching bumper stickers to fill the parking lots, coordinating orange clothing . . . yep, that's my kind of party! $75 is a drop in the bucket compared to what "that woman" is costing us in new taxes. Grassroots at its finest, freedom of speech (well, orange IS shouting at loud). Let's go!

3. There are some people who will be standing at the entrance to the park. A Ron Sims grievance tour. Bring your signs and join them!

4. Not only 91 days ago - but way last fall before election -- what a fitting personage to be lending support to Fraudoire - he is such a paragon of virtue -- where's the senior balloon?? or doesn't massachusetts allow both of premier citizens to be in the same place at the same time unless it is MA or the District of criminals (DC) -- you would think that Latte land would be safe enough!! -- where are the other c(reeps)haracters - Hill and Bill, Baghdad McDimwit, cant-vote-well, and Osama-Mama. You would think they would all be there -- at such a picturesque -- OH SO PC location -- what crap -- I hope it rains

5. $75 would be worth it, but not to support the loser's legal costs of preventing a fair election.

Posted by: Andy on May 1, 2005 09:43 AM
6. Priceless Stefan... I already got my shirt, plan to wear it tonight.

Posted by: bmvaughn on May 1, 2005 09:47 AM
7. Maybe some could hold up a sign, asking when those military records were coming~!

8. Looks like they are serving pork, not seafood.

9. It will be interesting to see how many people are allowed near them with pro-Rossi shirts, orange, etc. And even more interesting will be how the MSM covers it. Do you think that they will say Former AG prevent opposition to rally? Or is that only reported when Bush stops stealth hecklers (not that the MSM called them that)?

10. DEFENSE FUND?!?!?!?!?!

Ummm... What the aich ee double hockey sticks is the message when you feel the need to have a DEFENSE FUND this early in your tenure?

Nervous, Christine? Nervous that Berendt didn't pack the system strong enough to support your position? Feel the need to have some seed money to toss to more 'constituents' to encourage them to support you? Didn't get enough bang for the buck by stealing MY settlement money from power companies to spread to your favorite nonprofits? Need mmoney now?

And, what a GREAT choice to have plead your case. Ok, it's better than Gore, but isn't your new guy, the attack dog Dean available for you? What, you don't have access? He's staying away from you? What a shame. Well, at least you have Murray, Kerry, and McDermott there for you. Some solace, I am sure.

Guess your healing tour didn't take. And the press conference for southwest Washington held in Portland didn't get you much ground.

What a joke.

Say it aint so deadman. I thought Cohen/Kerry discovered his Jewish roots on the campaign trail.
This event is as un-kosher as the last election

12. I read in an Ann Coulter column that John Kerry's last name is actually Kohn. Anyone else heard that? Or is that just goofiness?

Posted by: Michele on May 1, 2005 02:16 PM
13. Michele:

I remember from the campaign is that Kerry's grandfather was a christianized Jew from Slavakia (or possibly some other state of what was then the Austro-Hungarian Empire). The grandfather changed his name when he immigated from Europe to America. I don't recall if it was changed from Kohn.

As I recall I saw this on one of the news shows, probably cable news. I suppose it may have been the Kerry campaign reaching out to the Jewish community, but it sounded plausible.

14. Stefen,
A better question is why on 3/12/2001 did John F. Kerry submit a DD-215 form for additional Medals, including adding 4 bronze stars to his Veitnam Service Medal. You know the same war that he hated so much, that he supposedly threw his medals away.

15. Glad to see this was mentioned. There are a group of wonderful people wearing orange and protesting down there as I type. Viva La Orange! The Grievance Tour rolls on.

Posted by: mimi on May 1, 2005 07:13 PM
16. Hmmm...Soup at Tent City is not good enough? How about REALLY mingling with your voters? Over a doughnut? Coffee? Plain club sandwich?

Gee--when push comes to shove, "we're-just-like-you's" opt for the prime satueed beef, duck a la ORANGE(!! ha ha) bescehmel sauce, fine desserts and local fine wines.

Yes--you feel our "pain." Want to impress me? Eat the stuff at any WA prison (for a week--or for that matter--at any women's shelter)--and THEN tell us how you plan to spend taxpayer money in a sensible manner. Walk the talk. WE balance our checkbooks--how about you?

17. Protest at Discovery Park: Resounding Success!

About 16-20 protesters gave the Dems a "shock and awe" attack at their little seafood buffet tonight. Good old Gregoire must have been pretty ticked off, because someone ordered that her staffers repark a slough of cars to try and block us from being seen by people walking in.

NO matter how hard they tried, they couldn't block Old Glory and the barrage of anti-Gregoire, anti-Kerry, and anti-Sims, pro-Rossi signage!!! You should have seen the rubbernecks gawking, and the bird flying from frustrated Dems!

Several red faced Dems with drinks in their hands tried to approach the crowd of protesters, but were quickly heckled back into pro-Gregoire territory (Not much, since we had them surrounded). I've never seen so many T'd OFF Democrats in my life, it was pure and utter disbelief that WE, College Republicans of Washington, et al. would have the NERVE to protest them!

The camera's were buzzing around too, with a few interviews, snapping shutters, and yes, even a few SOUND BITES! The only thing yet to be seen is how the PI, KOMO, KING, and KUOW present the story...

18. Great Report Patrick!! Whooo Hoooo! So happy to see such events. We don't heel!
Bird lovers!!! Good job people!

20. It used to be that SPers said that the errors in the vote mean that "we'll never really know" who won the election.

These days it's become Gregoire "lost."

Can anyone tell me what's changed? It used to be that folks would say we can never know who the illegal votes were for -- that is, without testimony under oath and some pretty strong truth serum. I don't think that's changed. And now, with hundreds or thousands of questionable votes in pro-Rossi areas identified, now of all times people are getting sure that Rossi "won"? (Note to those of you who've become statistics and voting experts in the last three months by reading posts here and elsewhere on the internet: please spare me your ideas about analyzing the data on a precinct level, and about your intimate knowledge of how illegally-voting felons usually vote etc. You don't know, and neither do I.)

Whatever this trend is, it sure doesn't sound rational.

(By the way, I've seen how you treat the Democratic posters here. I can guarantee you that your insults about Gregoire, democrats-as-communists, my intelligence, Dean Logan, etc. will not impress me. I just want to know if there's any rational reason to be sure that Gregoire "lost" and Rossi "won.")

Posted by: Rachel on May 1, 2005 11:29 PM
21. I certainly hope Gregoire and Kerry didn't write I.O.U.'s to the local media for all the Donkey doo-doo they were paid to spout about tomorrows contest hearing! ACK! They even gave creepy Paul Berendts a time slot to throw spittle and babble his nonsense! Heh... That must have cost the Dems a pretty penny!

Gee...I wonder where Daddy 'Moneybucks' Soros is these days? Have they bled him dry already?

Posted by: Deborah on May 1, 2005 11:45 PM
22. Patrick, I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I doubt very much if 16-20 protesters gave anyone the shock of their lives. The world gets a bigger shock than that each time GWB opens his mouth and tries to create an understandable sentence.

23. Rachel, when did all the errors come to light?
(A) In the hand recount

Rachel, where are the Democrats finding the illegal votes that just surfaced?
(A) My guess its in high population areas. As population increases, so does the ratio of Democrat voters. I doubt the ratios will hurt Rossi much.

Rachel, who won the election?
(A) No one knows! The Rossi win category is based on either annulment of the hand recount which was so fatally flawed or annulment of the election with a new vote which polls show Rossi as most likely to win.

BTW, if you have intelligence above the Democrat average and if you can debate in a logical manner you will be treated with more respect than the trolls who are here. They are called trolls due to thier trolling for reaction rather than debating a topic. They also resemble trolls due to their exhibited lack of intelligence and combative nature. As you have noticed, the trolls are laughed at and scorned while those who can debate are welcomed as a differing viewpoint. Some of the Republicans have their faults too but all in all they would rather hear an honest opinion based on fact then an honest opinion which won't change when facts are presented. If you have a fact you wish to post here, link it to the source document. So few of the Democrats here do that.

Posted by: Mark Beyer on May 2, 2005 02:35 AM
25. Rachel; lets change the question.
When should we think/guess that Rossi might have won. Remember he won the first 2 votes, Gregoire the 3rd.

a) what if we found Democratic poll workers taking absentee blank ballots home, before the election?
b) what if we found far more votes than voters?
c) what if the Democratic county both violated near every rule on vote counting (e.g. counting before the polls opened)
d) (fill in the rest, felons, Georgia residents, the deceased, etc)

26. Rachel,
I dont recall the first shot being fired in this 'name calling' as it is. But it happened never the less. If you want to take the time and check the archives you'll see that the liberals/ Democrats write in with nothing more than 'name calling', stupid remarks (Headless, Nelson), or just nothing to add in real defence of the facts. I can list for you a few remarks just to wet your appetite and your understanding.

You all cry like wounded little girls when someone calls you a "bad name". You should read your own posts and review the frequent and lowdown shmack that you gratuitously hurl at anyone who dares question you. You are not individuals, but members of a neo-con groupthink sewing circle. You are small, mean-spirited losers. And when you win you're gloating, loudmouthed braggarts.

I still maintain it's not about fair elections with you. It's about winning any way you can at whose cost you couln't care less.

Do you think the word "truth" in the name of the club has anything to do with the troubles the club has. Show me a club called something like: "The Absolute Truth Darwinian Evolution Club". Of course you can't because no school would allow such a club, just like they won't allow the: "Truth Bible Club". And that's the truth.

27. Rachel,
Here are a few facts for you on why Gregiore lost.
1. In a straight comparision, J. Kerry (D) received 137,759 more votes than C. Gregoire.

2.In a straight comparision, P. Murray (D) received 176,347 more votes than C. Gregoire.

3.In a straight comparision, B. Sonntag (D) received 176,347 more votes than C. Gregoire.

4.In a straight comparision, B. Owen (D) received 70,144 more votes than C. Gregoire.

5. King County has found more votes, after the election, than the rest of the state combined by a factor of 6.

6. King county has found more votes in the 2004 election, than it had found in the last three prior presidential elections, combined.

Posted by: Mike P on May 2, 2005 08:09 AM
28. nice one Mike P.

Love the ratio; found votes now vs all other found votes. Could do a breakeven..."it would take the last n elections to provide as many "found" votes as in this recent one.... (or you have to add 15 (making that up) states found ballots to equal King County alone.

Posted by: righton on May 2, 2005 08:16 AM
29. Rachel, why is it that a majority of Washingtonians (many who didn't even vote for Rossi) think that Rossi won? What did they see that you didn't? You might ask yourself that

Posted by: Michele on May 2, 2005 10:08 AM
30. Sorry,
"3.In a straight comparision, B. Sonntag (D) received 176,347 more votes than C. Gregoire."

Should have been:

3.In a straight comparision, B. Sonntag (D) received 295,214 more votes than C. Gregoire.

Also add:

7.In a straight comparision, M.Murphy (D) received 202,138 more votes than C. Gregoire.

31. Good afternoon

I don't know if any one will see this
If nothing else at least the dems are
raising money. We the gop have some serious
problems in that area right now.

the state is close to 2 million dollars
in the hole right now.As many of you may
know the state just had annual spring event.
the idea for those of you who don't know
is to raise money forthe state party through an
auction.

I have it on good authority that two thirds
of the 200 people that showed up.Went
home before the auction even started.
Vance has no idea or ideas on how to raise
money.I'm sorry stefan but its the truth.

Its even more difficult when you dont
have the support of the majority of the
party anymore.

Thank goodness all is not lost.A new
organization called GO WASHINGTON is
going to be a force to be reckoned with.
There main objective is raise money to help
elect candidates.Vance this is going to be your
worse nightmare.
