1. Logan is a chin implant away from being Weird Al!

2. OK, it's official. You've got too much time on your hands!

Posted by: Regret on April 15, 2005 10:44 AM
3. Aiyeee! My eyes!

Damn you, Sharkansky, damn you!

(shakes fist)

4. Oh my gosh! Glorious! Absolutley glorious!

Posted by: Matt on April 15, 2005 10:49 AM
5. That's profoundly mean. You made Diet Pepsi shoot out my nose.

Who gave you Photoshop? Now I'm going to have to go back and examine all your batch slip images for tampering.

6. Maybe Logan should resign errr I mean retire and move to Vegas to be part of that look-a-like cover show. He could sing Weird Als greatest hits.

Posted by: Joe on April 15, 2005 10:52 AM
7. When Logan is fired, can Weird Al play Taps with an accordion?
Is either even possible? How embarrassing for Al.

8. D.C., you're an Arteest!"

Posted by: Who.... me? on April 15, 2005 11:12 AM
9. Just guessing here..and I don't have time to Photoshop it myself, but Logan would probably make a good Howard Stern to boot. And...Logan and Stern are just about on the same level in my book right now. Detest 'em both.

10. Physically there is an undeniable resemblance. However, Weird Al is a genius! Anyone doubting that should see his video "Bob" -- how anyone can construct a song entirely out of palindromes (and make it sound authentically Dylan-esque at the same time) is beyond me. Only genius can account for it.

What's Logan's biggest creative accomplishment? Inventing whoppers to justify a parody of a fair election?

Posted by: Moscow Mark on April 15, 2005 11:29 AM
11. It is a cheap shot (even if true). You should not stoop as low as "them" to make a point.

Posted by: Cliff on April 15, 2005 11:34 AM
12. That's really really unfair to Mr. Yankovic.

Posted by: Leonson on April 15, 2005 11:35 AM
13. As someone who remembers "Al" when he was the late night DJ at our campus radio station (KCPR) in San Luis Obispo, I'd agree with Leonson!

14. Appropriate! Al parodies songs, Dean parodies elections.

Posted by: Jeff B. on April 15, 2005 11:57 AM
15. Wierd Al is better looking.

Posted by: REBEL on April 15, 2005 12:04 PM
16. Cliff, it was that nasty Mr. Cynical that is to blame.

But I don't know what is wrong with the picture. It is when you start putting swatzika signs to Bush or KKK attire to Bob Byrd is when you start stepping over the line.

What is different from this and a SNL skit with Clinton lookalikes or Bush parodies? Or Jay Leno jokes?

17. Way to go, D.C.~!

18. AHEM-------------
A picture IS worth a thousand words.

19. Thank you for giving a busy grandma a huge laugh on an otherwise hectic day! Let's see . . . I could watch TVW and get angry, or I could laugh at Stefan's humor. Laughter is good for the soul!

20. Yankovic and Logan ARE the same guy.
Yankovic's face looks thinner because it's a couple year old picture.

Logan's face looks puffy because it was taken at the precise moment of his recent Town Hall meeting WHOPPER. Apparently right before Logan lies, his face blows up a bit like a blowfish.

Posted by: Mr. Cynical on April 15, 2005 12:29 PM
21. He gets big, red blotches all over his face, too.

Posted by: lksimstrailgrammy on April 15, 2005 12:33 PM
22. Whenever I see Logan, he reminds me of Buster on Arrested Developement.

Posted by: Ken J on April 15, 2005 12:41 PM
23. Swatter,
If this were Saturday Night Live or the Tonight Show I would agree with you. Many people look to this blog for fact based information related to Washington Politics, something that is sorely lacking elsewhere in the media. I personally feel that personal attacks whether humorous or not (what is humorous to us may not be to all) only give ammunition to the opposition and muddy the waters.

Posted by: Cliff on April 15, 2005 12:58 PM
24. For All of You NAPOLEON DYNAMITE fans out there...

The next time you listen to Logan speak, think of Kyp, Napolean's loser older brother....they are practically voice twins!

25. Cliff-
Perhaps you are unaware that the LEFTISTS are oh so serious and oh so self-righteous. They are perpetually offended and have no real sense of humor.
Perhaps you are mezmorized by all the facts and figures...great.
Us folks on the Right can take ridicule..bring it on. But some of us delight in dishing it out too.
Cliff, the "civility movement" is the LEFTIST methodology for stifling opposing viewpoints. They use is consistently and effectively. They have done so for a loooooooooong time.
If you are offended by the "Yankovic lookalike" schtick....TOUGH! Ignore it. I wouldn't dream of telling you what to post or what not to post.
Logan is a PUBLIC FIGURE.
The State and County's are spending millions and millions of dollars because of this clowns incompetence, negligence and now it appears his LIES.
If you want to hug Weird Al...err Logan, be my guest.
Logan has offended me and the majority of voters in Washington State in a much deeper more serious way.

26. Mr. Cynical,
I am not offended, I actually thought it was funny. I just think personal attacks are unwarranted. Just my two cents.....take it or leave it.

Posted by: Cliff on April 15, 2005 01:21 PM
27. Excellent Friday humor!

Just think the Dems could put Dean Yank-o & Bagdad Jenny together to do a rendition
of "I want your socks" then follow that with "my bologna"

28. Okay, how about another example? I like Britt Hume and we used to watch it all the time till be found Law and Order reruns.

I think everyone respects Brit's program as a serious program. But..... at the end, he takes a funny situation (99% political), shows it and takes a chuckle at the portrayals. Sometimes it is a parody that Leno has done, and they even show where Brit or one of the panels get hammered. I don't think any offense is taken.

What I think your issue is here, is that you think Logan is really incompetent and unable to protect himself? You think he is like a mentally challenged person who gets ridiculed for being mentally challenged? If so, you are correct in expressing indignation. And I tend to think you are more correct than wrong.

But... the consensus in MSM we have been hearing is that the guy is a genius running elections and what the Republicans and the Shark are complaining about is the normal run of business- a few errors here and there, but nothing major. In this case, the court case will tell us who is correct, but as of right now, he has not been labelled as mentally challenged to not show us as being insensitive when we do a simple picture overlay.

29. Well, that just blows.

She told me she only had ONE kid...wonder why she never filed for more child support?

30. Blog credibility harmed? No--it's not compromised by political satire or a few crackpot comments. People need to vent without retribution & seek other venues for the truth. Try saying the same unedited things at work or at a PTA meeting these days if you doubt it. I'm told political cartoons from the 19th century were quite nasty indeed. Shine the light on everything! People are smart enough to sift through the chaff.

31. My favorite "Weird Al Yankovic" song was:
I LOST ON JEOPARDY.

It was quite funny and ironically appropo as Dean Logan is about to lose his game show on Monday.
