Republican Radio

I'm co-hosting Republican Radio this Saturday, April 2, along with Ross Marzolf, Anne-Marie Lake and Jerry Miller.

Topics include: Fawn Spady talking about SPARK!, a tour of the proposed state budget with House Minority Leader Bruce Chandler, and a rundown of the latest news on the gubernatorial contest and revelations on the botched election (yes, there are new revelations every day, even on Saturdays!)

Tune in 11am - 1pm on KOL 1300 in Seattle and other fine stations around the Northwest, and on Internet streaming audio!

1. Stefan

Good morning, listen you can tell your
friends there at republican radio.That
if they had any guts they would have
taken me up on my offer to talk about what's
really wrong with the King county gop.

Just mention my name to ann marie lake
she know's who I am.sometimes things can't
be sugar coated.I have to wonder if these
people at republican radio live in the
real world of republican politics.

The only reason I can come up with
that they don't want me on is they
can't handle the truth.That and I know
this stupid spark idea is doomed to
fail. For the simple reason that it does
not address the real problem in king
county.

2. Phil, Republican Radio is not the forum for airing Republican dirty laundry. Simply disagreeing an idea does not automatically make it a bad idea, and SPARK certainly can't hurt. What can hurt, though, is bitter in-fighting within the party.

I don't know what it is you think I
was going to say. This has nothing to
do with airing dirty laundry. It has to do with
righting a ship that has gone astray.

To even suggest that what I am trying
to do is the hurt the party is just plain wrong.
What they are doing now hurts the king
county party more than I ever could.

While this spark Idea maybe well intended
it does not address the real problem in
King County. They are focusing the blame
on the voters.when in reality it is the
leadership in king county that has created
this problem.

As far as republican radio is concerned
they along with the other political talk
radio programs want to just sweep it under
the rug.All they do is to make it seem
like everything is just rosy.

If they don't want to talk that's there
right. But everything will continue with this
mindset.Nothing will ever change.Understand
what I am trying to do is wake up the republican
party in the biggest county in the state.

For to long has it held the belief
that because they are in the minority
that they can't make a difference.
this has to change right now.

4. Phil, by definition, complaining about the leadership is "airing dirty laundry." The time for that was earlier this year, when the counties and then the state elected their chairmen. Now that we have our leaders, we have to let them lead, and do our damndest to make their plans succeed. If they don't, then we need to try something else, but they are the duly elected leaders, and that needs to be respected.

The heck it is,I'm sorry but they have to
be held accountable for what they do or don't
do.If they were honest people I would respect
them more. That and if they showed a lot more
respect for conservatives in this county.

As it is now conservatives aren't really
welcome. All you have to do is look at what they
are doing to Steve Hammond. The guy has worked
his tail of for his district. How do thank him
they run reagan dunn against him. Why? because
he is a conservative.Reagan Dunn is a moderate
and that's what they want.

Look I wasn't living in king county when
when they held there county party elections.
I don't know if would have mattered anyway.
Its an old boys country club mentality there.
someone has to start speaking up or nothing
will change.

I simply don't believe that what they are doing
is going to work.It never has and never will
it is a recipe for disaster. As long as i live
here I will not give up trying to turn the king
republican party around. Its a big job but
someone has to do it.
