Questions For Paul Berendt
Live at noon Wednesday, March 9, Washington State Democratic Party Chairman Paul Berendt will answer questions in an online chat forum sponsored by The Olympian.
Using this Olympian link, you may submit questions in advance, or through the end of the live discussion.
Suggestions, anyone?
One request, please: if you do use The Olympian's link to pose a query for Berendt, please keep it civil, and to the point. We've all had "good home training," right?

1. How about, "Hey, Paul, does Andersen Consulting prepare your books?"
Note: Andersen consulting used to do Enron's accouts :)
2. Hey, Berendt! Karl Rove knows where you live! Ha ha ha ha ha!
3. Hey PB....is your name on the money trail that reaches into KC Elections Dept.?
4. If CG's matra was "count every vote" (repeated many times on the local TV stations), why did the Democrat Party not correct those ballots where the voter said he/she voted for Rossi, istead of "have a nice day" and move on? I would still like to see Judge Lum's order on this was supposed to be done. Did the Democrats have the right to choose who they informed about faulty ballots or were they supposed to correct all ballots of all people contacted?
5. I would like him to write out what he said during that blubbering outburst----
I-I-I-I-I (sniff-sniff-waaaaaah) w-w-w-want (blub-blub-blub) ev-ev-ev-everyyyyyyyyyyyy-(waaaaaaaaah)
v-v-v-v-v-v-v-v-v-vote (t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t) to-oo-oo-ooo-oooo c-c-c-c-count(sniffle-sniffle-sniffle-blub-blub-blub).
It sounded something like this!
6. you mean Arthur Anderson - Anderson Consulting, now known as Accenture, is a seperate company
7. I already submitted a question on his assertion that felons voted for Rossi because they tend to vote Republican being mostly men.
If his laughable statement was based in reality, then how does he explain Hillary Clinton & John Kerry (and the national democratic party) (plus the Wa State Democrats) efforts to restore voting rights automatically upon release?
They certainly wouldn't be trying to do anything that might benefit Republicans & are cynically exploiting felons as well.
8. Why ask him a question? I mean really? If he presents like he is doing so right now on KVI then he'll not say much.
9. I was being ironic smoke...like I really expected a honest rational answer from him. Just like to remind him that he's not fooling anybody & tweak him a bit. When I e-mailed him about his comments regarding his delusion that Republicans disenfranchised the military (I'm republican & have a son in the Air Force) I got a nasty, snide (form e-mail) response.
I agree with Stefan about being civil, though it's tough as Berendt goes to my church. It's all I can do to not flash my Rossi button or revote sign. CG goes as well, though the last time she showed up was the day after the Wenatchee court decision & her comments about talk radio. She was working the crowd after & it was all my husband could do to not throw up in church!
10. You;ll have to walk the line between civility and realize that he is a pathological liar - hard to respect someone like that or take seriously. He represents part of the corrupted hard left of the Dem leadership... I am surprised he goes to any church - probably so he thinks he can live with himself. A question for him; I'd recommend a simple question that evokes a telling response - an obvious yes/no question that is tough for him to address without incriminating himself or exposing his lack of ethics.
11. Stephan - what is the timeline on the court case?
Tim
12. I would ask Paul Berendt if he had any mirrors in his house, and if he did, could anyone see his reflection?
13. Not sure if Berendt believes some of the things he says but has to toe the party line on their spin or talking points, or maybe he's as deluded as some of the kook fringe that's taken over the party. Karl Rove behind the recall of Sam Reed???
That's one powerful, busy, Machiavellian guy! He's got to laugh at all of the conspiracy theories of his powerful deeds. He ought to run for office in WA state.
Since Berendt claims Gregoire wouldn't be on the Gov's chair without his help, does that mean he's legally & morally liable for any fallout if she's ousted?
14. Shiii .... I have "good home training" .... as an attack dog .... Berendt, though, apparently didn't learn to keep his whining crying to himself.
It figures that the black widow would hire such a feminine boy to work for her.
15. I asked a question about Rossi's plan to repeal the B&O tax to attract and keep small biz in this state and asked if she would consider the same.
16. Iguana--
Are you saying Berendt may be Gregoire's "love slave"?? I'll ask Paul if he owns any S&M gear. I'll bet that crying episode was well rehearsed during an S&M trist. Paul bound in leather. Chris..the masked Governoress with the whip screaming "CRY HARDER PAULY..HARDER!!!!
17. "Berendt may be Gregoire's "love slave""
-Mr. Cynical
...Boy, there's an icky image!
18. I'd ask him..." Hey Paul, What's that jelly spot on your face ? And here...here 's a quarter to buy a lab rat to chew that thing off your face."
19. "Chris..the masked Governoress with the whip screaming "CRY HARDER PAULY..HARDER!!!!"
Urk... ulp... glurg... gag... BLEEAHHHHH!
