Questions to remain unanswered
Monday's King County Council "Committee-of-the-whole" meeting where Dean Logan was to have been questioned by the Councilmembers has been cancelled.
Meanwhile, the notorious binder containing precinct-by-precinct reconciliation reports wasn't released this week either. I'm sure there's a very good reason for this, a long line at the copier machine, say? Perhaps Ron Sims has been holding up the line trying to Xerox his ass.
On the other hand, King County will blow thousands of dollars of public funds advertising its whitewash of an election report that doesn't actually answer the most important open questions.

1. Maybe we should be watching the bus station for a clue as to why so many meetings are being cancelled, cuz there might be an exodus of folks leaving town clandestinely.
Mike
2. I'm sure the copier isn't busy...the shredder might be, but not the copier.
3. There is maybe one reason for the cancellation with the meeting with Dean Logan: somebody may ask Dean why isn't he a registered voter in KC, seeing as how he has an important job, a very important job of the People living in KC? Maybe he lives in Pierce County or in Chelan County or maybe in Beaver WA 98302.
4. Y A W N!!!
Get a life. The election is long over. You guys lost.
End of story.
5. Nelson
The issues must in some small way be meaninful to you, else why would you be here trolling?
Mike
6. Nelson is just trying to provoke reaction and is in desperate need of attention. Old troll tactic, unoriginal & frankly boooring!
Losing honestly & legit is one thing...through theft & fraud is quite another.
7. Stiil no word from Goldstein either since Stefan published his rebuttals to his puff piece that touted the Big Binder as the end to the whole election mystery.
A favorite tactic of Democrats is to simply clam up when the going gets rough.
8. Oh, that was a good one! I can picture Sims making photo copies of his ass. That's good home training for you. He probably has files and files of copies of his ass.
We need to put it into the shredder though.
9. DeadManvoting
That was not nice of you wanting to put Rons ass in the shredder.why then he will not have the balls it takes for his office.
10. Logan has been very, very quiet.
Now he cancels his KingCo Council meeting.
Something smells very bad....perhaps it's Ron's ass in the shredder....but it has the odor of a very nervous Erection Official.
I cannot wait for the depositions to start.
11. 10 to 1 the Big Binder will not show up unless it is subpoenaed by Judge Bridges. Stefan's numerical analysis has made the big binder look like a doodlings of a fifth grader...
If the big binder was unimpeachable, it would have been turned over by now - but my guess is that there is contradictory information that has been altered and doesn't jive - ~1800 irreconcible ballots w/o voters and other discrepancies that do not add up and was a half hearted (half-assed) effort to attempt to show vote crediting. Bottom line - it won't help their case...
12. This may be beside the point but concerning waste in county govt. did anyone wonder why we received a lovely brochure from sound transit/ ie heavy paper, nice priniting? Even if they did it in house the ink alone would cost a fortune also add in the cost of mailing and paper, for something that they say will begin in 2009. Why do our political hacks and their appointees think they can expense this :?P* to the public?
13. Stefan, Two questions -
1) At what point is it time to call in the lawyers due to lack of response by the County?
2) What are you going to do with all that money?
14. Oh, that was a good one! I can picture Sims making photo copies of his ass. That's good home training for you. He probably has files and files of copies of his ass.
We need to put it into the shredder though.
Dang it Iguana!
Another good keyboard covered with coffee!!!
(Snicker..... ;D )
15. Jaws has KC gun shy.....big time. They're afraid to release anything that can be picked clean. Their lawyers probably also told them to quit throwing extra provisional ballots (read: gas) on the fire.
Coffee at 8:55 pm, Deborah? Hope it's decaf, otherwise we'll be reading your comments written at 2 bells am. Salute to coffee the drinkers of America.
16. Yeah, well Deborah, I can't think of anything more intelligent old home trained Ron would be putting into his file cabinet.
17. Dean Logan lives in Kitsap County, Olalla area, south of Port Orchard.
18. Just got my postcard from Dean Logan today from KC, imploring me to look at the election report soon!
I'm not impressed.
19. Me too Michele....and the card went right in the shredder. I already know it's pure spin/CYA. They're trying the same old tactics under a more powerful spotlight and microscope. This time, the donkey doo isn't going to fly.
20. Me three...also received it. Have considered emailing them and voicing my displeasure with the taxpayers money spent to create this document that is nothing more than phony propaganda and belongs in the shredder.
Actually, it might be interesting to compare say 1999 with 2004 - and we know that things were less corrupt in 1999, but you likely couldn't tell if you looked at both reports. That doesn't need to be done to determine what a farce this report is.
21. Using the figures form the EFF report I found the error rate in this election now appears to be more than 3.66% A far cry from .02%. More errors and illegal votes will be inevitable so I expect this error rate to go up to almost 5% once voting fraud from elderly and assisted care facilities plus illegal alien voters are validated and added.
22. So how about if Sims numbers and signs the xerox copies, and the county sells them as a limited-edition political art work. Maybe they could afford a new election binder with the proceeds.
23. Good one Boonie. I would like that if they then also reduce the amount of coin that goes to art for public projects. Just saw RTA bragging about a new park and ride in Sammamish. Complete with tax payer funded public art! Give me a break.
