Mornings with Mike
I've been a frequent guest lately on Mike Siegel's morning radio show on KTTH 770.
Starting tomorrow, I'll be a regularly scheduled guest on Tuesdays and Fridays in the 7:00 - 7:30am time slot, with updates and commentary on the revote campaign and other efforts to clean up the election mess!

1. Way to go Stefan.
Of course, you know the supporters of freedom
(theirs not yours)Democrats are probably crying already. Keep up the good work.
2. Good news! I think you, Mike, Sean and Bob have done a fantastic job exposing the corruption in the elections - especially KingCo.
And most of all - keeping the news in the forefront rather than lost/

4. Stefan,
Why don't you comment on the fact that the “Recall Reed” team filed a Motion for Reconsideration on 02/23/05 of the opinion handed down by Thurston County Superior Court Judge Chris Wickham in the recall of Secretary of State Sam Reed?
Our brief supporting the motion challenges the court for rejecting all nine charges rejected by Judge Wickham on February 14 for failing to meet either one or both of the legal and factual sufficiency requirements of the state’s recall statute.
The Motion for Reconsideration is an optional step in the recall statute. Instead of immediately appealing the decision to the Supreme Court, the petitioners requested Judge Wickham to review his February 14 decision based on “manifest error”.
We argue that he showed a complete disregard for controlling law and credible evidence in the record when he failed to find that the recall charges were legally and factually sufficient.
In addition, the “Recall Reed” team has also presented additional case law and new facts that, despite the diligence of the team, did not come to its attention until after Judge Wickham’s February 14, 2005 ruling.
A favorable ruling, based on the motion, would allow the recall petition to move forward with a signature-gathering drive to collect 600,000 valid signatures to remove Secretary of State Sam Reed from office.
Cited in one of the charges, for example, as Washington’s chief election officer, Secretary of State Reed’s foremost duty during the election was to certify the county auditor’s certification of vote tally from each of the 39 counties. By law, he does not have the option of accepting incomplete certifications. Yet, he did, which precipitated the “raging” controversy of the 2004 election.
5. Does that program stream or is it played somewhere else where us easterner's can hear it?
6. Stefan--
I'll be listening during my road trip to Olympia tomorrow. Mike is a passionate guy. I like that. Stefan, you do a great job of balancing that passion with hard-core facts and pertinent information/observations. You are a dynamic duo like Batman and Robin(SUPERHERO'S)...unlike Logan and Huennekens who are the Abbott & Costello of elections (Who's on 1st...No Who's on second, What's on 1st). And of course we can't forget our sweet friend Goldy-lox (from Ballard Ya, sure, yabetcha!!) who delivers us one "fairy tale" after another.
7. Stefan --
What I love about this blog, what keeps bringing me back, is the facts. I personally appreciate all your efforts, as, it is unfathomable that in the most free nation on the face of the Earth, we have the most out of control electoral process. Your facts could help bring about much needed change, and your background in math is a real bonus!
Thanks again -- I'll be listening!
Dan
PS. NEVER confuse a liberal with the facts!
8. How do I listen over the web? Is KTTH still not spreading the truth in the 21st century?
9. Excellent!
10. HorsesAss.ORG Perhaps some of you might enjoy reading what the commie libs have to say about current events. Don't hesitant to drop by, visit, and drop a bomb or two. Perhaps a B-52 Arclight strike is in order, so, take off, and drop your 500 pounders. Hard hard and often. With respects to my fellow members of the VRWC. JCH
11. Regarding streaming radio stations, you may have noticed that virtually no radio stations stream. The union that represents radio personalities won a court case or arbitration about two years ago. Voice talent for advertising are generally paid based on the potential audience which has something to do with market size and ratings. If a station is broadcast over the internet the case argued that the market size then became the whole world and that advertising talent should be paid more. Consequently most major radio stations stopped streaming. Thanks to the unions, we no longer get most talk radio via the internet.
12. Calvin A,
That's interesting. I listen to live radio (streamed) from Israel and have wondered why local radio stations are not streamed. For me it's a probably a good thing as I might be tempted to listen at work, which would not be too good for my productivity :-).
13. KTTH since November has furnished the best daily analysis and commentary on the election contest, save for Sound Politics itself. Mike Siegel's daily debates between Chris Vance and Paul Barendt were miles ahead of anything the Times or P-I could find to cover, except for the guzitsas of King County's elections officials. KVI needs to advance one whole order of magnitude to transform its morning show from 'personality time' to real inquiring journalism, as Mike has done.
So congratulations to Stefan, who will reinforce Siegel's facts-based inquiries on a regular basis.
And a Bronx cheer to the Times and P-I for allowing talk radio to hold the field by default.
14. You will soon be just like The General who comes on to talk about BBQ!
15. Congrats, Stefan! This is great news!
16. Stefan, I heard you this morning - you were fabulous! Thank you so much for everything you're doing. Keep up the good fight! We can't give up until King County and WA state correct this ridiculous situation. Thanks again!
17. You and Bob Williams are excellent on Mike's show and it's a don't-miss, as far as I'm concerned.
18. Stefan is to statistical analysis what the General is to baked beans, collard greens and pulled pork! It don't get no better than that!
19. I listen every morning, addicted in fact. Love ya still Kirby, but who can pass up Vance v Berendt?
I admire Mike & KTTH for keeping this issue alive.
20. Thanks Stefan! I enjoy listening to Mike Siegel and the latest on the election. It's nice hearing smart intellectuals like yourself, Mike, Sean, Bob Williams, Chris Vance...
However, I just cannot stand listening to Paul Beherndt, it is nauseating so I turn back to Kirby every time it's Paul's turn to speak...
