On the Carlson Show

I'll be on John Carlson's show this afternoon at 4pm. KVI 570.

UPDATE: My segment was rescheduled to 5pm. Keep listening in the 4pm hour as John takes apart Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles.

1. Okay, just one question. What was Senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles smoking just before she went on to talk to John????

2. She stuck pretty well to her party line, but Carlson brought up some inconvenient statistics (they sounded right out of the table in Stefan's Institutional Racism post below). Her line had been that racial fractions of the higher ed populations should mirror those fractions in the general population. Carlson pointed out that among the 'protected' minorities, they did, and then asked what changes she'd make by her proposed manipulations?

She left an absolute vacuum where her answer should have been, and tried to fill it with a giggly explanation that she wished to stick to generalities and other wishful thinking instead of specifics. So, what's the point of taking the teeth out of I-200? Apparently more power for the unelected bureaucrats who would do the racial manipulations, and perhaps more money to feather their nests.

Another absolute vacuum (no, this time it was a black hole) disposed of all questions concerning cultural attitudes toward excelling in a University learning process, or in pre-University preparations for such learning.

3. Stefan, I didn't know if you'd be able to keep it together long enough to get through your presentation. That email really got you laughing uncontrollably!

Thanks for pubbing it. :-)

6. Pubbing it--publicizing it. Just in case anyone needs to know....

Yep, if I'm there, I'd prefer no one would be smoking there, Bruce. Yep
