Just for fun

Sometimes overstating your case can be hazardous. But it can still be funny.

By Daniel Cotrell, linked at FOTW:

And here's another well-done one, albeit a little extreme, by Matt Mullenix.

UPDATE: Blogophobic conspiracy-nut columnists who believe SoundPolitics is a Republican "front group" or part of an "attack machine" might want to get a clue, courtesy of IMAO:

MYTH: Bloggers are just a bunch of ill-informed polemicists writing in their pajamas.

FACT: Not all bloggers wear pajamas while blogging. I myself wear boxers, a gun belt, and a bandolier. One of the contributors to Power Line is famous for wearing a gorilla costume while writing.

MYTH: Bloggers are a bunch of ankle-biters to the mainstream media.
FACT: Our effect to the MSM is more akin to a strong kick to the groin. Thus, we are "groin-kickers."

MYTH: Most bloggers are paid off by politicians to assert certain viewpoints.
FACT: Only 8% of bloggers are bribed for their viewpoints. The remaining 92% have too few readers to bother bribing them. OT, I would just like to once again gratuitously mention that Bush's plan for Social Security is the way to go.

3. Well Done! I notice that from the viewer's point of view King County is on the Left side of the state!

You need to add a big Red Star over Loganville (Seattle/King County).

6. Hilarious! LOL -

on another post I read about a military truck carrying absentee ballots being burnt up in Iraq. Another soundpolitics reader makes reference to it as well. I agree, that in a way, terrorists did successfully determine the outcome of this election. Amazing. Prayerfully, LewdiChris will have a short stay in the mansion.

12. Question regarding the "first" check Gregoire is going to write...
I suspect the first check she is going to try and write is to the Democratic Party for buying her the govenor's chair... Guess the price of furniture in Olympia is still going up...

13. Robyn,
"Lewdichris" is wonderful! Congrats!

Johnnymc,
That's pretty dad-gummed hilarious! Instead of writing one check, though, she should divide it up evenly amongst every single person in Washington...and hand write each check. That should keep her busy for, what, three months?

Deano "is sleeping with the geoducks"...

15. Oh! I see! I was just curious! I thought for sure he caught that "foot in mouth" disease so Behrendt and other Dems. sort of silenced him...

16. That's one of the best Baghdad _____ (fill in the blank) I've seen yet!

Can we have one done with Ron Sims? and of course...Gregoire?

It's a shame to waste the fact that he's sitting at a desk...maybe we could have one made with our favorite liberal news reporters!

17. Heh. Very cute. I should like to post that over at Preemptive Karma. LOL

Speaking of PreemptiveKarma..all of a sudden when I put that information into the prompts...I'm blocked from posting.

Am I being banned from posting here with my PreemptiveKarma information?

18. I suspect the first check she is going to try and write is to the Democratic Party for buying her the govenor's chair

Got bad news for you. Since the election was overturned in the manual recount the Democrats get a refund.

Yup, you and I get to pay the estimated $1.5 mil price to put her there.

19. Robyn, where did you hear about the military truck carrying ballots and voting machines burning up??? I read an actual prayer request from one of the leaders of that mission ask prayer because they knew that mission was going to be both very historic and exceedingly dangerous!

20. I would imagine the first check Gregwhaaaa is going to write would be to Dean Logan. It'll arrive tucked inside of a 'Thank You' card. Lets hope the revote unf**cks this situation
