Sick humor for sick times.

Eyes on the Ball:

"We are very upset at the allegations of fraud and malfeasance directed at us by Republicans in Washington State," said Elzoah Greybones, representative of Ghouls for Democrats. "It's bad enough that we are constantly under attack by Hollywood, what with their 'horror' movies and all, damaging our reputations. But now the Republicans want to take away our right to vote as well."
It's sad that I need to mention this, but it's a satire.

1. I want to take away the Democrat conceived right to vote early and Often.
A democratic Voter gets one vote and only one vote. If they want to find the Dead to vote for them also is not a right. IT is call Fraud.
Those democrats that want Felons that dont have the right to vote to vote is also FRAUD.
Those who vote for others taking away their vote is fraud. (Some people did not get their absentee ballots so they did not vote yet they are shown as having voted via absentee).
Democrats do not have the right to stuff teh ballot box, nor do the Republicans.
Democracy depends on an honest election. Failures of the election process only show up when there is a close election.
So I guess I want to remove everyone's right to steal an election by stacking the deck. My motto one voter = one Vote. Why did more votes show up than voters. Can we say FUNNY Business?

2. Yes it is sad that you have to include the disclaimer. Else some moonbat will come up with some sort of advocacy group for the dead voters! I wish I was kidding! Truthfully I can see a reason why the dead should vote... they pay taxes don't they? But that discussion is for another day. For now us dust-bunnies and other bloggies need to keep the WA media from sweeping this under the rug or inducing overload news coma in people. Now if it could come out that Gergoire cheated on a reality TV program and got the real winner kicked off the island...

But Keep Up the Satire! Maybe we need a song!

Ha! I wish I'd thought of that one.

4. Where are the investigative reporters?

The Seattle Times 1/13/2004 Article “Military Ballots…”

“After delivering the first batch of military ballots to the post office, King County election workers took the remaining ballots to a mailing contractor in Snohomish County later that day and on the morning of Oct. 8.”

And further into the article.

“After delivering the first batch of military ballots to the post office, King County election workers took the remaining ballots to a mailing contractor in Snohomish County later that day and on the morning of Oct. 8.”

“Those accusations were based on reports that King County Elections' bulk-mailing permit wasn't used between Oct. 2 and 13. But election officials said the permit isn't used to send ballots to armed-forces members overseas because federal law allows the mail to be sent postage-free in both directions under a federal permit.”

Questions I would have asked.

1. If the post office does not require postage, then why send them to a mailing service?

2. If further preparation (assembly) was needed before mailing, then when did they finish their work and deliver to the post office?

3. Will you produce the documents that confirm when they were delivered?

5. Oh dear. I "bought" it.

6. I know the undesirable effect of a blog is to reinforce one'e own opinion with group-think, but....to provide reasonable answers to your questions Jaybo:

1. If the post office does not require postage, then why send them to a mailing service?****Maybe they were referring to the domestic ballots which they mailed later. Did that thought cross your mind? Or maybe that these mailing services are staffed and equipped to handle large bundles of mailings and are very efficient allies to use when a group of hard working individuals is trying their best to meet a deadline to get mail delivered???

3. Will you produce the documents that confirm when they were delivered?****Will you produce those which claim otherwise? And will you drop this issue completely if they do? Or will you continue to harbort resent and mistrust?

Also, does anyone know what happened at the polls in any other county in out state? All those red counties whose bias would be to Rossi? Have you even tried to find any of these small scale, independent instances of personal fraud or honest mistakes in the smaller counties? Did anyone? On a percentage basis, a much smaller number of votes in these places is NO different than the numbers seen in King county. Granted it would make a more significant difference in the vote count, but by God you better get off your moral high horse with all the "Orange County", Ukraine and Florida crap. Because both sides are guilty of self interest at all times. You are free to disagree with the outcome and the cerifications, but no one owns the moral high ground in this case. And before you say "if it was happening the Democrats would be holding it up!" I say to you that they would not because they are trying not to stir the pot anymore than it has been already. Rightly or wrongly they want it to blow over.
Conspiracy I tell you!!! Always assume the worst and spread the fear amongst your fellow citizens!!! (hey, if it worked for the war hawks it'll work on a blog).

Have a nice day, and enjoy your venting!
