CONVICTS FOR CHRISTINE

The Public Relations battle heats up with a newly released radio ad sponsored by the Building Industry Association of Washington that reminds the public how Gregoire stole the election.

1. after reading about the convicts for chris...it made me think of what washington sen. darlene fairly, democrat, from lake forest park said. according to the AP she said..."the bottom line is, a revote AIN'T going to happen. the house and senate are solid D."
[i especially love the use of the word AIN'T...doesn't that make you proud?]
so what is she saying exactly???
that democrats wouldn't do the right thing? that they won't follow the will of the people? that they can't follow rules and laws and don't have to because of their sheer numbers???
i'm really curious here ....what is she saying? maybe we should call her and find out........

2. As much as I support a revote, I have to admit that this ad sounds a little cheesy. Takes me back to pre-election days when we had all those negative ads flying around. I never gave them much weight, regardless of who they were against. Something about that "scary" music and dramatic voice...seems a little contrived. Oh and cheesy, but I guess I already said that.

I wonder if this will turn people away from the cause...

3. I think we need to keep a spreadsheet of these legislators who are saying it AINT gonna happen.
I'd be curious to see if they get re-elected.
I wonder if we could get information by district on who is for the revote. Would be interesting data.
75 % of Voters in dist #__ want a revote
yet dist #__ legislator is against revote.

would this change the partisan mind?

4. So,
with the number of (probably) fraudulent votes reaching about 10,000, and centered in King county, I wonder two things:

1. Is it just the govs race that got affected, or are the state legistators not legitimate either. Esp in the 41st district, and others that seem to have a lot of republican votes and "narrowly" got democrat legislators.

2. Isn't it time to split King county? Maybe it's time for a referendum on that.

5. Kerry won in WA, right?

Any thoughts on that one?

6. Bruce: My understanding is that the anti-CAO people are many of the same Cedar County (East side of King County) movement people and that the Cedar County effort is still very active. Contact them if you want to help:

7. Bostonian, yes Kerry won with a 7 point margin...doesn't look too suspicious to me as this isn't a very close margin of victory (about 206,000 votes). Also, Kerry attracts voters here because of issues like the environment and war in Iraq, among others.

I was a Kerry/Rossi voter who tends to lean republican! Yikes, try and fiture that one out! In my opinion, WA is a hard state to figure out. Some people are very much party loyalists, but many like myself are independents and cross party lines.
