Christine Gregoire: The Government's Governor

More confirmation that Christine Gregoire is running to be the government's governor, not the people's governor. Attorney General Gregoire is siding with Sound Transit against voters and taxpayers:

In court papers filed last week, the state agreed with Sound Transit that, even though I-776 repealed the transit agency's motor-vehicle excise tax in 2002, Sound Transit can continue to collect the tax for an additional 24 years.
Voters approved I-776 and the state Supreme Court upheld it. It would be a sad day for this state if Christine Gregoire, who habitually protects rogue agencies against popular will, ever became our governor.

1. Well, I wish she had Arafat's health troubles too... I'll put it that way. As I told a Rossi campaign guy today, Gregoire betrayed my party!

2. 1) Unless you are the editor of truthout, posting the ENTIRE contents of something they no doubt own the rights on is unethical.

2) Do you know ANYTHING about the standard practice of Internet use? The topic here in the governor's race of Washington (state, not D.c. Maybe that is where you got confused), not the presidential race of The United States
