More confirmation that Christine Gregoire is running to be the government's governor, not the people's governor. Attorney General Gregoire is siding with Sound Transit against voters and taxpayers:
In court papers filed last week, the state agreed with Sound Transit that, even though I-776 repealed the transit agency's motor-vehicle excise tax in 2002, Sound Transit can continue to collect the tax for an additional 24 years.Voters approved I-776 and the state Supreme Court upheld it. It would be a sad day for this state if Christine Gregoire, who habitually protects rogue agencies against popular will, ever became our governor.
