As noted earlier, The Seattle Times endorsed Sen. Patty "Osama builds day care facilities" Murray for re-election. On what grounds?
Murray unabashedly brings home the bacon on transportation projects, $700 million in recent years for projects from Walla Walla to Vancouver to Tacoma and Seattle.Interesting. $500 million of that bacon was for Sound Transit light rail, which, barely more than a year ago, the same Seattle Times correctly characterized as the wrong approach to mass transit.
Where would we be without the Seattle Times editorial board holding our elected officials accountable for wasteful spending?
