If you'd like to see an example of balanced coverage of the issues behind the Families and Education Levy, pick up a copy of the Ballard News Tribune. They interviewed Levy campaign manager Julien Loh and myself. (Here are Stefan's comments about Mr. Loh.) Both sides were quoted evenly, and my arguments about accountability were taken seriously and reported for what the were: an attempt to get a levy proposal which will most benefit students.
Unfortunately, the text of the article is not online. The BNT only publishes four articles from each issue and does not archive the issues. Contact editor Adam Richter to lobby to change that. He's particularly receptive to people willing to take a subscription.
A further News Tribune note: I'll have an op-ed in the September 8th issue on this same topic. Again, it won't be online, so look for it in your physical copy.
