The Seattle Post-Intelligencer's still blames Bush for the Enron scandal:

This transcript of an actual telephone conversation from August 4, 2000 is offered up as proof, proof! that Bush admnistration regulators were puppets of the energy industry. Please ignore the fact that Clinton was President during this telephone conversation and that it was the Bush administration that indicted Tim Belden. Because that would, you know, undermine Horsey's narrative.

The P-I editorial page blames Bush and the Swift Vets for questioning Kerry's exaggerations
The Swift Boat Veterans for Truth campaign is taking on water. Hole after hole has been blown in the group's credibility. We hope the damage is sufficient to finally sink 30-year-old anguish over the Vietnam War as a campaign issue.Maybe if the P-I editors got their news from sources other than the official Kerry campaign blog, they would have told us that the Swift Vets actually did expose a number of inconsistencies in Kerry's depictions of his Vietnam service. For example, Kerry really didn't spend Christmas Eve 1968 in Cambodia, contrary to his earlier claims. Posted by Stefan Sharkansky at August 27, 2004 05:04 PM | Email This
