Charter Schools Work

There are a few articles in the news this week that show how well many (non-union) public charter schools are helping children succeed where the (unionized) traditional public schools have only failed (in California, Florida and New York).

Here in Washington State, a coalition of school employee unions and their allies in the legislature want to make this kind of success illegal.

In spite of, (or perhaps because of), all this good news about charter schools, the anti-charter campaign just sent sent out an urgent e-mail today with the headline "CHARTER SCHOOL FAILURES MAKE NATIONAL NEWS".

Don't let the teacher unions outlaw successful schools. Vote FOR Referendum 55.
